LVL 20 Glavie needs help

High guys me and my Full STR glavie just hit lvl20 so now i want to choose a job hard to make a choice betweem them.

I also want to know if alchemy is something for me or that it is a wast of time

But my Glavie personallety looks simpel not special i also still using the standard hook glavie is and not that special protector.I heard that when you do alchemic you can make + things of your weapons and armors can you do that on any weapon?

If someone got some advice for me let me know,im lvl 20 but still a little noob i think
(i realy would like to have a nice looking Character and maybe more tips you people have for me)

alchemy is good yes, it can be done on all equipments. as for your job, at lvl 20 you cant really do much, because you will get killed, but you can do any job you want, its not like you pick a job and your stuck with it. no you can do any job you want at anytime, but at lvl 20 is hard, unless you have company to protect you.

Is trader good for money,or wast of time,@lvl 20,and i can do alchemy now and buy weapons and upgrade it with a+ or is that also wast of time?

I would wait till your at least level 25 before you start trading, just because in order to trade you have to come up against mob at least level 26.

At level 20, you don't really need to do alchemy, as you still level quite fast, and its just a waste of money. However, if you + a weapon, it just means, for example you have a lvl 21 glavie +1, its the equivalent of a lvl 22 glavie.

Trade will make you the most money at lower levels, however, you should really only start off doing 1*, have a look in the guide section for more details on that.

Thieving, you can't really do, as not many people your level will be doing 2*+ so you will end up being killed by...

A hunter. I wouldn't suggest this at low levels either.

Most people don't start hunting till at least 42+

equivalent to a npc glaviel but can be quite weaker than a glaviel 21 with good reinforcements. i think alchemy at the early lvls its a total waste of time, since u spend more money changing the items and when u want to seld them u get less than you could get buy just selling the elixirs. i think its really hard to sell lets say a 21+5 glaviel at 1mil, but u will need 1 mil worth in weapon elixirs to +5 if u are really lucky, if u are not so lucky more you will need more elixirs +some astrals +inmortals. astrals u can only buy with silk, and u can have inmortals already on the weapon or buy it with silk. anyways, my opinion its that before lvl 3x is much cheaper to buy weapons that have already a + something and some blues, than make them yourself

Cool thats clear i wil become a trader when lvl 25 26 when should i buy +weapons now@lvl 20 or should i wait,i stil have the hook clavie and some lvl 16 protector cloth,but i want a nicer look,should i buy now or later and what should i buy?

It's probably a better idea to sell your elements at lower lvl. you can make decent money on certain ones. I think theres a post in here with prices.

Im a Real Alchemy noob

I got 8 pieces alchemy products from monsters different things i hit Y and put a rondo thing in the first left box and at the right the 8 alchemy things so fused them and now i got 4 elements.....then i point my curser on a Tablet(in my caste)jade tablet of air lv3 and from here i totally lost it.

Tablet say i need

earth 80
fire 20
water 229
wind 57

How the hell do i get that much?

You can get alchemy stuff from :
1. Grinding and using void rondos to break up the alchemy stuff,this takes a while.
2. Using destroyer rondos to break up items(weapons, armor), this is a little faster, but costs money.
3. Buy elements from someone else, this is fastest, but might cause you to go broke.

it's cheaper to buy gear with blues already on them than to try and do alcemey yourself. the fail rate is to high to make it worth your time at lower levels.you lvl to fast to get the use out of your gear after spending tons of money on it with alcemey.if you sell elements to higher lvl players you can afford to just buy good gear(lvl2 wind sells for $2000each on babel). there's a post on this forum that tells you what elements you get from killing each mob. and one that tells selling prices for each element. this way you can hunt certain mobs to make the most $$ .here is a link http://sro.mmosite.com/alchemy/material.shtml that tells what each monster drops,hope it helps
