Blatant Botter Confessions

I find it very difficult to play this game surrounded by increasing numbers of botters, and when I see one global or who might even say hello to me I can't help myslef and I go into rant mode.

Here's a couple of screenies I've taken of conversations with players who admit to botting in whisper.

I don't really care if you see this as pointless, you can voice that I do not mind

I am just so astounded that these ppl can be so blatant about it and offer excuses like "my hand hurts", or "at least I don't set it to ks".

Grrr.....

iv come to just ignot bots i dont mind them aslong as there not set to ks im happy

i do not support bots they have ruined this game but there is now too many to deal with even for gms and jm

The only people I hate are the ones that do bot yet call out others (on forums) when they get caught botting.

Not saying you do, but those hypocrites are the people I really hate; and there's lots of them.

That and offering excuses why you bot is really lame. If you bot and get caught, just don't talk about it lol, it's not that hard. Now you are a botter and a liar, whereas before you are just a botter.

**HARD STARE AT SpiritPower** I don't care that you bot, I really don't (or anyone else for that matter), but I do care that you insistently deny it when you get caught red-handed, repeatedly!

What happened to people owning up for their actions and taking things "like a man"...? Oh wait, it's the internet and a video game, no one cares :roll:

they were both banned from Fellowship a while back for boting :roll:

Agree! Botters are always the cause for ruining a game. :cry:

I would say that at least 80% of all people in the cave use a bot, or have used a bot. At least on Oasis.

Agree! Botters are always the cause for ruining a game.

That may be true. Ultimately though, you have to ask yourself that if a game is so repetitive and requires so little actual thinking that a program can play it for you, are the botters really the problem?

Im just telling you what i see. There are very few legit level 70 players on oasis. Perhaps you are just in denial?

There are legit players, and there are non-legit players. There are botters and there are non botters. There are paths which you can take, each ending with a certain reputation you want to recieve. In the end it's if you accept that certain kind of player or not.

In every game, there is a cheat, in every direction there is a shortcut. Let those who want to ride the wrong way ride it, and those who want to walk the right way run it. Then, in the end it is your choice that leads to the meaning of your purpose.

You either choose to be legit or you choose not to be legit. Doesn't matter if it is bad or good botting, you are botting. But either way, it doesn't make a difference but just an extra player in the game with no emotions or feelings.

We all have paths and decisions we make, and since then and from now on, I choose to be legit. And so I see many people follow the same path as I walk, and also so many take the other path.

Just leave what you see alone if you can't fix it, or if it cannot be fixed. Stand your ground and do not let those knock you off.
