WORST THANKSGIVING EVER!!

I come home from school today , and did one of my daily virus scans and found out that i had been infected with a keylogger , so after i removed the virus i went and checked my msn..x-fire to see if sanything had happen , but that stuff was still good... i then went to check Silkroad .. when i tryed to log in i got that usualy "cannot connect to server" message.. but then i got the message " User is already Connected" , at first i thhough it was a mistake .. but then i tried again and got same message and i knew i was being hacked cause i never gave my password away...i quickly went to main site and changed my password , luckily the hacker doesnt know my secret question..

The Hacker is jamicanFire , yesterday he asked to join the guild im in, but i said he was too low lvl.. i told him if he could wait till he gets higher lvl then hed be welcomed to join..he then added me on msn ,, saying he had some cool sro screenshots.. i LIKE AN IDIOT believed him and accepted the folder..it must of had virus/keylogger or something!

When i logged back into my char , all my stuff was gone and my Hard Earned skill points were wasted... not only thata.. this jackass decided to make me a murderer ,,, All he left me was a npc lvl 32 spear... NOW i dont know if i should just give in and quit Sro .. or should i overcome this obstacle and fight back..

Id keep playing. Hopefully u have some good friends that can help you get back on your feet. But as far as i see if you quit the hacker wins.

2) it's a game, yes it hurts, but you can rebuild if you find you enjoy this game enough to do so

guildmate of mine helped me get murderer status off.. i deleved but only one level..
i know it was a stupid move on my part..and now i pay the price..

i dont wanna let the hacker win , but starting all over again is something i dont like to do...ive made 6 chars in total and really dont feel like making another...all i have to say is .Ppl of troy .. dont trust JamicanFire..

Some aren't, but most people on the internet are mean...because they know they can get away with what they say without any physical consequences. Such a pathetic notion seems to raise their self-confidence.

wow everyone here is being such a jerk. i play on troy and have tons of armor and spears in storage if u want to borrow anything. as long as ur part of a trusted guild and i know u wont steal my stuff id be glad to loan some equips to you. pm me in game Vendetta77 or just leave me a message if im not on.

further more, the issue has been dealt with by the guild leaders.

those that said kind words, thank you for your support.

not much damage was done, considering how much could have been dealt to everyone involved. hopefully we can get kami back onto his digi feet within a few days.

to those that dont know, dirtydeeds has a 30 and above policy at the moment. which was insituted by hellsharpt, our guild leader. some exceptions have been made in the past. but we rarely let people in who are both below level 30 and are unknown to us.

kami was fully complying with the rules in place. it is unfortunate that a prick of a person felt the need to carry out actions due to a simple rejection.
