To awnser some questions that for sure will be asked. No, I don't look Japanese, and yes I was born there, raised there etc.
+ I was a tad drunk when they took the picture @_@....

I find it quite personal. Why? It's a reflection of what you like, in colour, in background, in design, and in yourself. Honestly, I wouldn't change it. It fits, for you. Which counts, more than anything. Nicely done.

I would say... it's TOO centered.. which create the look of boredom.. perhaps if u create the focal point from the bottom left or right.. having yourself facing towards the middle... that might create a whole new look to it. XD ..but then again. it's my personal opinion. BG is great. .. ^^
