problems after the 10/14 patch

my problem began after the 10/14 patch. when i ran sro it did its update then i got a small error window. no comprehendable message was in the window, just some jibberish. i tried many things and finally i redownloaded sro client from the sro website. now that wont work. i have tried the patches but they wont work bc the downloaded version is too old. in fact when i double click the icon nothing happens. any ideas for what i should do?

ps. i have tried shutting down my firewall/antivirus

maybe u got same problem as me, i did the patch and now it says game hack detected when it runs the game gurd and cloes my silkroad.
