hi all..
yesturday meaning 14/11/06 i got dropped a lvl 16 SOM bow.
it only had one blue..lucky(5 times)

now i have it +2 and lucky (4times)

how maney more times can i + it before it breaks???

i got told that u could go up to +5 before u have a chance of breaking it..is that true??

how much would it sell for if it was +3 or +5??

and last of all...wat dose lucky do???

sorry for the noob questions...first SOM ever for me.

im so happy...just dont wanna break it :shock:

lucky is supposed to up your chanses of adding elixirs successfully

however you should use lucky powder as well.

items like your bow has a really small chance of breaking through alchemy cus of its low lvl, but its still possible.

in order to prevent the durability from going down, add steady stones.
to prevent the weapon from disappearing add immortal stones. (item mall)
but for you to need any of those two, you must be really unlucky

after you get it to +4 you can use astral to prevent it from going back to +0. astral keeps the + at +4 if you fail above it

+3 it and you could easily get 15 mill for it (greece server) ^^

you can get immortal + astral from item mall
steady stones are made from steady tablets, which can be dropped from mobs

you cant buy the stone other then in the item mall, however you can give your bow to someone and have them add it to the bow for you.
I really wouldnt reccomend it tho, what if they wont give you the bow back =.="

yer that was my thought...so i should put steady and use lucky powders. to get it to +3 and higher.

nope. well, at least it wont mess up something you arent able to fix ^^
theres a thing called assimilation.
every stone has an assimilation percentage. the higher this number is, the higher is the chance that a different stat then the one you originally meant to change will change.
example:

you wish to add str to your bow. the stone you use has a 20% chance of attribut assimilation.
the stone succeed and you get str3 (100%) to your bow, but at the same time the assimilation kicks in and the crit goes down to 0%.

the assimilation can only kick in if the stone is added successfully tho, and if you stick with 10% stones, it really wont happen all that often.

some say 30% stones are easier to add then 10% stones, I cant say I have the same experience.
