We will be continually investigating bot users and when found, we will be punishing these users.

I would take some screenshots and post them, but I do not see how they would really help understand what is going on with the botters unless there is a group like shown above.

Anyway, I believe there are two botters on Athens in the Hyungno Homeland area. One is weapshie and the other is Yeste. Both of them were unresponsive to everything I threw at them: PM's, trades, party, ks'ing. weapshie has some sort of auto-reject party, but does not have an auto-reject trade. But when I did a trade first followed with a party request, it seemed to make weapshie immobile. After doing it for a little bit, the char logged out.

The same technique didn't seem to work with Yeste. That char just kept on fighting. But both of them have the most irregular running patterns as well. weapshie runs to new mobs when ks'd, and Yeste does not.

If some screenshots are required, I can obtain them. But now as I am writing this, I see weapshie is back. So I'm gonna ks some more and see what happens.

Ok, a quick update.

weapshie doesn't seem to become immobile from the trade/party combo. It just seemed that for some reason weapshie was immobile maybe because he/she was logging out.

And just to mention what I was doing yesterday: I was helping weapshie on a giant in the homeland, and it seemed the faster the rate of my freezing on the giant, the more the char wanted to run off. Every time I came to assist on a giant by freezing and healing, the char seemed to go find other targets.

The bot program that you ran into is an attempt at making the bot less detectable and less offensive.

Most people have an issue with bots because they killsteal (KS), and this of course can be very annoying.

By writing the bot program to disengage when it detects someone else attacking the same mobile, the bot program then irritates less people, and then hopefully flys under the radar and manages to bot undisturbed and undetected.

The failing of the bot program is of course it's predictability, and the 'locked' path that it follows.

For example, and this is only one of many many examples, somebody is running bots into the Hyeongcheon zone South West of DW. They are quite noticeable because as they get to the corner at the Gobi Desert (near X:3092, Y:1824), they climb the canyon walls on the ride out, getting stuck and sort of zigzagging along the edge of the canyon wall.

On Redsea I noticed shoohe, yayah, myloww, __s___O__m, hao123, HAOa, real_love, akojc, HOHO, kuijia and shilu all botting out there.

This is so evident that even half a brain can see the botting. Sadly, that leads us to the unfortunate conclusion that Joymax has less than half a brain

I'm quite certain that my earlier report of the Alisando and company bots was never checked out, and similarly that this post of hao123 and company will achieve nothing. They'll probably only get banned in 2 or 3 months when they walk up to a GM and say 'I am a bot program'

It would probably help vastly if you submitted your bot report in Korean because I think nobody there can read English. They seem to use babelfish for the entire site, as well as the game

Messing with the bots really has no use unless you plan to murder them. I'll start slaughtering them after I level up a bit and use all my skill points. I'll be damned if I am going to lose my skill points over some idiot.
