SoftMod alters the game client and falls under the illegal third party program no-no rule. Im gonna pretend you never suggested such a thing.

turn into a bigger thing than what it should be...

Well, I would. Problem is that i'm not into making videos i only
like watching them thats a no-go for me... And then if i were
into video/movie makin for games and "such such" then i would
use that to change camera views wouln't i?

Well you tell me, Is it a big deal if you get banned over a game
that you're not paying for? (apart from silk) Its only a virtual
game, Its not like you're losing your "REAL" life or something.

So tell me... Tell me something i "SHOULD" care/worry about...

Are you trying to say you bot? I dont get it... Anything that alters the client is considered cheating and is illegal. I dont care if you dont mind losing your char. LOL Because this is :just a game: I dont feel the need to cheat at it. I can play it in it's pure form, unaltered and still win. I dont need to buy gold or accounts, hack accounts, alter the client, bot or CCF. Maybe it's a stubborness thing, or a moral thing, or whatever you wanna call it. I just dont. I've played since the game began on this same char. Im not gonna risk it for some movie... If you would like to, be my guest. SoftMod bypasses gameguard, alters the client zoom cap and allows multiclients. It in no way provides different camera angles. When you hear of someone getting banned for "illegal program use" and not on the ban list, its prolly over using SoftMod.

BTW, I dont cheat on my taxes either. Call me foolish.

Anyone with half a brain can go google an app and see what it does. It does just what I said it does. It is produced by 0x33. Do I need to hold your hand and teach you some research techniques?

You are getting terribly upset over this, which makes no sense. Promoting any kind of illegal third party programs on SRF is bannable. You arent advocating the use of those, are you?

I heard you DS, and there's no need for apologizing. If I was making a video of some game, I'd be playing around with the cameras aswell. The one who should be apologizing is nb, who started to talk about botting just because you said something about using this wouldn't count as illegal.

I get both of your points, nb's aswell as ds's, but just take a freaking chillpill for gods sake, he didn't say that he was going to use it for enhancing his game, just his video.

And oh yeah, I know that you were just trying to protect new-Billion from using illegal programs, but a veteran as yourself should be taking these new guys under your wings, instead of pushing them away. They are the future, you know?

Did you read his response? lol I merely said that SoftMod doesnt give you better cameral angles and he came unglued about it. Encouraging ANYONE for any reason to use an illegal third party program is wrong. Calling it harmless is wrong. I was gentle about it in my first response and suggested they drop it there.

I do believe I was giving the best advise humanly possible by informing them both of their error in thinking that using a third party program is a good idea.

It isnt.

You shouldnt encourage them either.

What is everyone made their own 30 second to a minute film of them fighting and compkile them all together where one flashes on the screen then shrinks to a corner of the page then another one flashes and moves nest to it and so on until the page is full of tiny mini-movies of everyone doing their thing.

IDK just a thought.

P.S. I got fraps for free, is it not free anymore?

Yeah that's a good start for srf, let's all try this out. Pick a couple of songsand put up all together. Sadly frap isn't free aymore :banghead:

Downside to the free version is that it has a time limit on recordings.
Think it's like 30seconds or somenthing

Well I used softmod before when the servers were insanely crowded so that I could use my auto login script, But that was back on my old account and i don't need to do it anymore because servers are on populate

Yes ok, I get your point. If it hardly changes/alters/adds
camera views then i guess there is no point, BUT you can't
just say NO for something you haven't tryd that "Is NOT" going
to put anyone in harmful corners.... If it adds a extra camera
view then i guess it should be tryd out before we argue
the point of using and not using it...

Well, I take it clearly what you said about giving
someone advise for not using it but again yah can't
really say much unless it has somesort of CHEAT/HACK
that is inputted... If i was a programmer i would have
downloaded it then removed EVERYTHING apart from
the camera view option so who ever uses it can't
really get blamed from cheating the game.

And no i am NOT a bot and have not tryd to use
one people may think that i am a botter but i guess
thats your disision to make.
