Question for the high level fire nukers

Anyone have all 3 books maxed?

which do you prefer and why. I've read the stats and know the numbers, I'm curious about how people that use them feel. I've only got Book 1 level 1, book 2 level 9, book 1 level 1. I'm intending to max book 2 only, unless I can get some compelling arguments.

I don't have those skills, only book 1 and book 2.
But I think maxing all 3 of them will help.

The second and third book have 300%, so they are ver very strong for PVP. Because the second book can go to level 14, it will be stronger as the third bok maxed at level 7:

Book 2 at level 14 will make: 548~913 (300%)damage(needs lvl 69)
Book 3 at level 7 will make: 424~707 (300%)damage(needs lvl 68, can cause burn)

The first book can be leveled till level 18, and will make: 464~773 (250%)damage.

Book 1 maxed will cost 1310MP, book 2 maxed: 2066, and book 3 maxed: 2267MP.

In my expierience, if you use a 300% Nuke and a lion shout, a monster is killed if you use spear.
If you use sword you cna use a maxed Flame Wave arrow and a maxed TigersThunderbolt(first book) to kill monsters.

Maxing out all 3 books will give you some advantage I think.
If you really only use fire, and no lightning or cold nukes, I think you should really max out all.

But thats just my opinion!

I do, but just because I'm a perfectionist.. not because I really need it. I also max the fire passive as an int for the lil extra damage when I crit

Normally the nukes below are all I use/need:
Fire book 2 [most damage]
Lightning book 2 [most damage after fire]
and Fire book 3 [big aoe]

I just use the 1st book when I don't want aoe.. which is almost never. I can really recommend book 3 though. It will be usefull in groupfights when 3+ opponents are close to eachother.. and ofcourse the same for pve.

If you have cold above 54 I'd recommend to get the nuke 2nd book as a finish of after the 3rd book of fire ^^

I have cold at 60 now, but none of the cold nukes (I know its just one into each).

Nuke (light or fire) + shout kills a power earth ghost (fire & light are at 60), So I don't think I need to waste the mana on another nuke. Last night I sucessfully tanked 2 ghost giants simultaneously as well (protector gear), so while the freeze effect will help a little I don't know that it's necessary, though it does look cool.

I appreciate the comments, I was most curious how the -35% on book 2 compared with book 3.

6 levels and 49k SP to go until I'm capped

just a small hint, the percentage has nothin to do with the damage, its the casting time ! 100% = very fast, almost executed instantly e.g Lion Shout / 300%= nuke takes longer to execute (some seconds) e.g tigers thunderbolt.

It is damage related, not casting time.

the best example I have of this is flying dragon (250%). Anyone that has used it knows it 's as fast as lion shout (100%), which is virtually instant..

i think he means cooldown time. nukes and flying dragon take a long ass time compared to something like lion shout.

fire book 1 - hardly use it.
fire book 2 - mother of all nukes (range + aoe + damage). it's easy to hit at least 2 mobs at a time but a bit more difficult to hit 3 consistently
fire book 3 - useless in that it's very difficult to maximize its use (ie round up 5 mobs unless you're bombing uniques...). good for trades? just level 1 for it's coolness.

light book 1 - another weaker version of book 2 (obviously)
light book 2 - easier to find 3 mobs with the bounce to maximize its damage, great damage if you do so. hitting 3 mobs will basically double your damage vs hitting 1 mob at a time (9k vs 9k+6k+3k)
