Crit or Stun for PvP? [Glaive L36 - L40]

Having watched and paricipated in a few pvp battles with glaives, I wanted to know everyone's opinion on which is more key to winning. (Of course crit stuns are the best but let's say on avg) This is for less than L40 but above L36.

Crits - People use chains and ghost spear petal which the benefits are the crits. The idea is doing way more dmg.

Stuns - People use soul spear soul/truth which the benefits are the stuns. The idea is preventing the other player from potting thus getting in more hits.

I'm more for the stun moves, utilizing mostly the soul spear moves. When fighting any build that has a time delayed move, there's a good chance to cancel that move with the stun. As a result, I have not and do not plan to learn any chains.

Opinions?

I would say go for the stun and knockback in PVP.

Chains are better for PVE.

But againg: Chose the playing style you like most.

You can still pot while stunned.

I vote for Soul Spear and Ghost Spear. A crit from either one of those is gonna hurt a lot more than a crit from a chain. Soul Spear's stun is a bonus. I really don't know why a lot of people use chains. They are slow, and unless you get multiple crits, they can be potted off.

i've been noticing this during my pvp.

Also maxed 2nd book of dancing demon spear does more than maxed book 1 of soul-spear. So im gonna keep getting dancing demon spear up to max 3rd book and see if it's good or not. If its crap compared to fully maxed ghost spear or soul spear than i'll just de-lvl it.

But seriously...

2nd book of dancing demon spear is awesome until like..maybe...a little after lvl36. I loves it.

EDIT::I think its suited for PVE. however, since it's cooldown time is INCREDIBLY short (way shroter than ghostspear or a chain) It might be a plausable idea to use it for pvp. I just mash soul-spear and ghost-spear against someone I know will be a challenge (i.e. someone my lvl or up.). However, I love toying around with it against lower-lvl ppl in pvp. It does two-strikes, each doing almost as much as soul-spear maxed book 1. Meaning that put together it easily outdmg's soul-spear. (I do not currently have maxed ghost-spear or soul-spear book 2 though i am at lvl 36. 0gap is great for lvling but my sp is shite.) So yeah anyways. It's fun how fast you can go soul-spear, dancing demon spear, soul-spear. You can do both at least once, twice if you're good at timing. All in one 6-second imbue. hehe

Stun is THE skill for pvp if you use heuksal

Stun is better than crit i think because once u stun ur enemy u can get another attack and if u total that up it will be higher than a crit.

are you sure? Ive also heard that you cant pot while stunned.... but I cant figure out where I got that.

Meh. lots of people I know thought you couldn't pot while stunned. It's a common misconception >_<
