I'm a level 16 full str glaive user. Ive read on the forums that generally the best place to farm sp is at the bandit den on bandit archers but im not sure...but im probably wrong.
First of all as im using glaive i find it quite hard to kill an archer before someone bows it. So i figured i'd move onto bandits cause i dont see many people farming them.
I realise I lose a little sp by doing this but its not a huge loss.
I get 207 sp per kill and it takes 4 hits to kill.
Recently ive been farming Yeoha though, and i get 106 sp per kill and its a one hit kill. So basically in the time its taken me to kill one bandit i could have doubled my sp on yeoha.
Am i missing something here? Also i use up less potions as the yeoha, decayed dont get a hit in and normal yeoha do less damage than bandits anyway.
Just wondered if there are downsides to farming Yeoha?
Thanks in advance.
SP farming question...

You fight Yeoha by the Exocists House, you can see it past the first bridges on the map. You get a quest there but i cant remember what level, probably like 12 or summit.
If you're gonna SP farm you need to get saving money, i think most people go with an SoS bow + 5 and farm at the Bandit Stronghold. Search for sp farming or look at the sticky on this forum for more info on that. It might depend on your build as well, if you're going full int or full str.
I'd say play around with your first character for a while, try different things, level up in different skills and see what you like. I did that and then started a second character and transfered all money across to him via storage to give my new char a good start.
I'm using an SoS Glaive + 3, but I could probably do with a better one.

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea how I'm supposed to save enough money to setup another character, what level did you go to with your first one before you transferred money? I'm on the bandit archer quest and I'm getting owned really bad, probably because of my crappy gear. I'm level 12 and I can't imagine leveling up there, I can't even fight one bandit without getting smacked around. I don't know how people can level with only level 7 skills, lol. Anyways thanks again, I'm just gonna mess around with a pure int character for now and see how that works out, seeing as how my str glaiver is pissing me off

don't know if this will help you but this is what i'm doing with my new character,(recomended by a lvl 70 player I know on BABEL). he said no matter what build you plan on making later in the game to start with a bow and farm. preferably at the bandits den at lvl 16. if your going pure int/nuker keep a bow to lvl 30.at thirty switch to sword/shield.if strenght switch to glavie when your done farming.keep a 9lvl gap while farming then go to 5 or 6 gap.you will gain the most sp with a bow because you spend less time chasing mob's around and more time killing.my new guy is lvl 16 and farming outside the bandit's den on tigers, bandits, bandit archers. can 3 shot tigers and 4-5 shot bandits.don't have much invested in my bow skills cuz I will delevel at 30.hope this helps.
EDIT: note, buy the best bow you can afford to farm with. it will help considerably.
If it isn't broke, mess with it till it is.

the reason people use bandits is the spawn rate (its virtually unmatched) and the SP per kill, Its over 300 if im not mistaken? So while you have to run from one mob to the next (and there are no giants) an archer doesnt have to move.
The SP per hour from an archer will most likey triple what you are getting.
sorry.
