what lvl do you have to be to do the sp return quest?

well i made a new reroll. i didnt keep a 9 lvl gap to get to 16 because i figured it would be easier to just lvl to 16 quick, then just do the sp return quest and make the 9 lvl gap, but the guy wont give me the quest?

did i ..... up, and now have to buy them with silk?

I don't think that it has a level cap.
If you're having problems with that npc, try a different one, say in hotan/dw.
go from there >.<

You can get the quest at LvL 20+

That's what I thought also, that you wouldn't be able to get the quest until lvl 20. If you can't get the quest, you may just have to buy the skill reallocation pots and do it that way.

or you could gett to 20, get the quests and then delvl and get al te needed hearts before handing it in then start farming

i agree with Misaklo, level up to lvl20 and get 90 Cursed Hearts, turn them into bottles and level down all skills to lvl7, then delevel to lvl16.

With 9 gap at lvl16, i had to de-lvl myself from lvl18 each night (this means i had to die and get ressed 100 times in a row at the end of each day, which is why i stopped farming at lvl16 -.-') So if you have a problem with deleveling, just wait until you are lvl32 and get a SOS weapon then go to Flowers in Oasis (fastest respawn, easiest kills.)

The Purpose to delvl is to get more sp now so you have some to spare or have enough of in the later lvls??

That and so you clear up some masteries that you can put to better use with the 300 mastery cap.

Isn't Delvling for (example) a lvl 18 will get less exp/sp per kill on say bandits, Delvling lets u get the maximum sp/xp per kill?

Yes that's the point exactly.

Altho i wouldnt recommend lvl16 for SP farming, bandit fort is always full of people and no other really great exp spots around.

Many ppl sp farm at lvl16 to 0 gap to a high level, but i'd still recommend lvl32 (fresh sos/som/sosun and instant-repop flowers to kill) or even lvl52 (once again fresh weapons, instant-repop flowers and Karakoram full of mobs!) and the higher lvl u are, the less time u need to spend on deleveling
