Question for pure str blade(skills)

Post by Blackchocob0 »

I've read the blade guide by cuchu some somethin, the really good one, and I've only got one question left after reading it. He says that alot of people insist that the first blade skill is useless, but in his opinion it should be leveled up.

So, should I lvl up the very first blade skill, or skip it? Is it useful later on or will I regret the wasted SP?
Peace.

It has it's uses. I haven't had the sp to level it up and I haven't found that it really is necessary at the cap. The first two books are good for until you get devil cut blade.

I would say definatly get it low level. The added damage is useful early on. And it is cheap. You will already be invested for mastery levels, you won't miss 5-20 pts in that skill.

One thing I like about the first skill and chain skill is that the character will continue attacking after the skill is used. That is not the case with the ranged skill or the knockdown skill.

Also, the first skill has a quick recharge time, seems like 3x the speed of the chain series.

And I can always buy some skill realocation things from Item Mall or with cursed hearts when it becomes futile.

Thanks for the advice.
Peace.
