There is no style, cause I taught myself, so I never even knew there really WERE different "styles".... LOL Thanks for the grid love HTV... I like them simple yet with clashing elements, so it appeals to me to have satin, grunge or swirlies with a grid pattern over the top.

As for the darkness, the sig is called "stary", you know, night and all that. Dark kinda goes with that.

I wont! I dont like that whole shiny background stuff. I never have. Everyone has this standard look and ppl judge sigs based on how they stand up against that. I wont ever go there. LOL I like that mine have always stood out against the general wash of overbrushed metalic backgrounds. BLECH! I dont really see the creativity in that. Everyone uses similar backgrounds and brushes, in the same size boxes...

Im glad I taught myself and no one ever told me how things were "supposed" to look like.

It's better when people learn on their own instead of taking the quick easy way like I did, unfortunately.

True story: I was at this forum and everyone had these great animated sigs. I was like WOW, everyone can do this and I cant! I asked some random person what prgram they used and she said PaintShop Pro with AnimationShop. SO I bought it. I read some random tuts, gave up and started pushing buttons to see what they did.

Honest to God, this is my veryt first animated sig.

Horrible. BUt I have saved it all this time.

I keep trying, making one after another until I pretty much get the gist of how to make decent ones. Then, after about two weeks of messing with the program I find out something very important. One person made all those sigs. The person I randomly asked as a matter of fact. It never occured to me that someone was making them for everyone. LOL Im glad Ilearned tho, its been a fantastic creative outlet.

I just find it weird how you have stars all over then all of a sudden in the top-centre and top-right there's none.
