Ok, since you can't find it out, and I can't get in silkroad i'll explain, i'll post pictures!!

Ok, go to the main site:

select data bank and click on downloads

Inside databank select manual patch

Save to mydocuments or what ever

unzip the folder you'll see a folder called this:

Inside the folder you'll see 2 files

copy that .dll file into programf files/silkroad

Then go back to the manual patch folder and install the patch:

when you install, load up your sro again the'll be another update for today's one and you can play. If you still can't figure it out after well...

how come when i press start patch it says client version that is installed is 1.066 can not patch with 1.065 version manual patch stop patch...

Because you already started the 1.066 download =( so now some files are new and some are not

So you'll have to uninstall Silkroad

Download client again

Install Silkroad.

Run patch

lol i deleted everything in silkroad and download the client just like u said then i installed but then the version is still 1.066.... how do i get back 1.065???

Had the same problem...
Resolved using following:
1) Deleted Silkroad using uninstall.
2) Downloaded 1.02 full from site
3) Downloaded 1.01 to 1.62 upgrade patch from Fileplanet.
(Saved the files to CD for next time this happens!)
4) Installed both files
5) Tried the site manual patch but it did nothing)

6)Tried to logon. Got message saying manual patch required. Did nothing for a minute then the online patch started.

Now everything fine EXCEPT

It's Sunday and I've been trying for 3 hours to logon to Olympus. Hence writing this as I have nothing else to do :cry:

is the patch from fileplanet the ip/dns patch?...

my problem now is i cant open the launcher it keep showing some c++ things...

steps i tried:
-reinstall(failed)
-firewall(checked)
-download the client from the main site(on process)

any suggestions?...

I finally got SRO working just follow this steps:
1.) Download the client at the main site(client vers. 1.02)
2.) Download the IP/DNS patch at Fileplantet(client vers. 1.61)
3.) and after that just let it auto-patch...

i tried that but i realized that it is not silkroad's problem.there is a problem with my sony laptop's graphic driver.
