extreamly poorly planned event.
extreamly poorly planned event.
This has to be the worse, im thinking of flying back to korea to rant about this.
if the caves are not bad as it is. now there are way way more people, even lower lvs in the caves killing mobs that i need for a quest.
im on the last moles quest and all the way form lv 70s to lv 60s are in the room im trying to grind in and killing all the monsters.
look you guy dont need to lv there, i see alot of yacha room empty, go kill them damit, i dont have the quest to kill them yet or i would be doing so.
and whats is up with this double gold thing. they have not cleared the bots yet so on top of that the game is about to have a huge inflation increase in items and what not.
and why only 30% exp? the legit players that are working to lv 70 would atleas love to see 50%. bots dont need this since they are geting lv 70 or are lv 70 already.
just poor poor planning.

i think its more of a "you farked yourselves over by frauding each other and all that bullshit so we can;t be bothered to give you decent events like the ones kSRO have, because inevitably all you will do is piss and moan and **** up your gameplay even more, so here, have this half assed event suck your thumb and go play the damn game"
and quite frankly I agree with that

Nightv, I wouldn't necessarily call it poorly planned. On the one hand, I do agree that this is going to make some already present problems worse (i.e; traffic, botters, possibly adding to the already over-inflated prices) but look at the alternative: No event at all. That would cause even more grumbling from the masses.
If they were to somehow manage to eliminate or greatly reduce the number of bots, then perhaps things would have gone off as planned. But unfortunately, I think Demarthl is more right than not. I can only speculate how the game is played on the Korean and Japanese servers, but it would appear that "the spoiled, crying, whining Americans and Europeans" only get a half-ass piece of the Joymax pie. As Demarthl put it, somewhat of a "you get what you get because you’ll end up complaining about it anyway, regardless."
Unfortunately, they are right in the respect. Is it because we have higher expectations or because we are spoiled and impatient? That's anyone's guess and their opinion. The Japanese (at least as far as I am aware of [I have nothing but a familiarity of their society to base this on, so it is all speculation]) don't complain, gripe and expect this or that and it shows from the reports we're all read on here about the Japanese version. Players are more polite, don't appear to have botter problems and, if my failing memory serves, they don't have anywhere near the inflation rate that we have in ours (I think I recall seeing a high level SOS weapon for 8 million?).
They are doing something right on the other servers and we're obviously doing something wrong.
Either that, or to play devil's advocate, we're just a testing ground and a rendition of the game whose silk covers their overhead. Who knows.

Yea, that sounds about right. Too bad this is an MMORPG, you know, there are actually other people playing too. nightv, if you want to be alone, go play a game like Final Fantasy.Ryoko wrote:Basically, your telling us
You want a spot to yourself to train in the cave; other people don't have a right to have a spot
Your obsessed over the bot.
This event is not fun at all..
Been grinding for 2 hours,....Not even a decent drop from monster..
I think it's better we can have an event where we can get a cute little rabbit like what taiwan and korea version have.
That's much more interersting if we can have such event..

The cave was never designed to hold so many people anyway that's why it's so full, if you go on the Korean version they have 5 servers, 2 are always easy and 3 populated, Jangan has 2 stalls, Hotan has about 30, the population is much lower than ours. When you copy that game to ours it doesn't work because there's about 100 times as many people as the grind area was meant for.
Same for most problems in the game, it wasn't made to be full of GM's cuz they've never had this problem there.
Things could be worse on ours though, thankfully there's no lottery system cuz with that on ours and the CCF people, theyd have no trouble in knocking up a stall full of 64 SOS+7 weapons worth a total of 3 billion at 300 mil each.
