How Did You Arrive At SRF?
O.o
Hey there all SRF members. Well as we all know SRF has only been around for just under a year, and already its popularity is noticeable with 9346 registered users. However what I would like to know is where did you hear of SRF from? How was it that SRF became a part of your SRO life?
Also, over the last week or so. I have noticed a tremendous increase in members here to SRF and I was simply wondering how all our new members came across our forum. Some of the new members here were simply nuisances trying to promote things which are against our rules but there was a portion of those new members who came with the soul purpose of actually joining our SRF community. So with this post I just wanted to find out where you heard of SRF from and extend a warm welcome to all the new members.
Ill start. When i had posted my "Mother of All Alchemy Guides" on SRO.net forums i was congratulated by many friends and Babelites, Untill my Union leader recommended that i posted it here on SRF. Ever since then i couldnt leave the SRF community, and here i am today asking you how you came to SRF.

friend told me about it. He probably googled it or something lol. I think he spends all his time trying to find communities for new games, after he spends all his time finding the new games
McCain, he (Barack Obama) said, will soon "be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten."

I was trying to get members for my at that time, kinda small guild. I googled SilkRoadOnline forum and this is one of the hits I got. I signed up then. Then I looked through the guides and didt say much till I met Fly. He is really why I stayed.

Well.. I was just googling for a sro-related forum, and basically the only two active, english and big ones where Tavern and SRF. And back then Tavern was mainly a flame flame forum, and this actually had a community.
This is mainly still the way it is, except that SRF has gotten a vew flamers itself too. But thanks to Ryoko and other mobs this is still the best silkroad-related forum.. even so popular that it has alot non-silkroadplayers to lol

Ryoko was the co-leader of a guild which was in my alliance at the time that SRF was created, and naturally the BHA moved into here as our online home soon after. when Ryoko reached out into the community for help with some basic forum moderation and cleanup, i offered my services and was for most of this board's history its top poster (supplanted by Bakemaster and the Captain himself recently). this board is still the most often viewed page in my internet routine (i am posting this from work... proctastination and sneaking wireless ftw!), and even though i post less than i used to, i still love my home here, even though the BHA has since moved to our own, smaller, private board.

Thx IceCrash for my awesome sig :)
