still play sro and sro-r to this day, still have all my old characters from back in the day even though the server names have changed I will always be on the grind in that game.
I even still have the Ninjitsu and Avalon website still bookmarked and visit them from time to time, haven't been to Avalon's site for awhile, probably closed down by now.

How long have you been playing SRO?...If you started out in 2006/2007 then you got a lot of patience...or you're just highly addicted...

Negroes. I have joined in late 06, but my previous forum account got banned because I got into a "botting scandal", basically being openly tolerate of botters.
I botted, I also caught Master_Wong botting but I didn't say anything. This is a piece of shit game, why did I have such shit taste in games back then, I want my time back.
A lot of people botted, it was just something that wasn't allowed to be talked about back when the forum was at it's prime.
I still miss the good old 0x33 site and bot. Definitely worth it. Eventually I lost interest in the game so it stopped being a worry about getting banned from here.
I shouldav botted from the beginning especially seeing later on that Joymax wasn't doing anything significant about the botters....All I wanted was an even playing field while playing SRO....either we all botted or none could...favoring the latter...

Joymax was a poor company but the game was fuckin brilliant.
SRO had a lot of potential but it was wasted. I think Joymax may have had a change in administration shortly after the game was released because I find it hard to believe the current Joymax or even before "Wemade?" bought them could have made a such a decent game (before they turned it into shit.) I still have interest in making a true spiritual successor to Silkroad Online.

So true. Luckily, some of the other Silkroad versions have better management

Here's my opinion on Silkroad being redone (or even continued development) for today's market. It wouldn't work. You have to many bad elements that people just do not like anymore. For one like 99% of your users are botting so they can play your game. That's a big issue. Enchanting wouldn't be bad. Losing everything of your trade run. Let's assume that people were farmed within a reasonable amount of time, it'd end up to be a cluster **** of garbage anyhow. Why? During the height of the game you'd have silly amounts of people camping each gate of a city so nobody would end up trading, but would be a gatewar PvP.
Despite saying that, the only good part of SRO was the trading system. Reward? Well it was terrible, but it encouraged PvP constantly. Problem is you had super alliances and whatever that scanner website was to figure out who you were. So you could only shit on undergeared/leveled people or get shit on constantly.
If being a loser means not playing Silkroad all day.. lulwut?

I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT HERA MAN, should've accepted that gold ticket you wanted to buy me back when i was a kid and had no money lel
Still get a bad taste in my mouth every time I see the "Exposed Botters" forum section. Killed SRF for me when they started with that nonsensical witch hunt.
But I still stick around, always have SRF on the first tab of my browser despite not posting much.
