Finally upgraded on both systems and got to say I am VERY impressed. Everything is just better; faster ( clean install hax ), smoother, just no hustles at all and in case I don't like it I still have w8, w7 and xp disks laying around.
Not to mention windows never looked this good.

That's really strange. Maybe some outdated graphic drivers?
I can run Black Ops 3 on my laptop just fine. You should check to make sure that the drivers are all updated (although I'm assuming you already did this).

I don't know what to say. Of course all my stuff is up to date given that I am an enthusiast and all.
Is just this game that's not working for some reason. I already tried all my other titles and saw nothing wrong. Hopefully I find a fix for it later when I have some time to deal with the annoying reboots.

I am going back to 7 and will upgrade to 10 from there since I heard people upgrading from 8.1 had these issues. If after I upgrade to 10 and install my drivers BO3 doesn't run I am going to go back to 7 until the very last week of "free upgrades". On the bright side I am still happy about having it on my Surface >.>

Why not just re-install Windows 10? Why go back and then upgrade from 7? If you re-install Windows 10 now, won't that be the most clean install you can ever get?

Because I have 10 due to upgrading. In any case I looked into the issue and won't be needing to do a fresh install anyways.
Culprit is windows 10 auto installing some unreleased nvidia drivers that are faulty (nvidia drivers seem to be eating dick atm anyways). How I believe I'll be able to deal with this is by turning auto upgrades off and going back to a previous firmware known to be stable.
Worst case scenario I don't get to play for a while until the two get their shit together and fix drivers and I benefit by spending more times studying and reading books which is up there with gaming for me.

Anyways after that dl older drivers (347.88 works for me and the community thinks this will be the most stable) do a clean install using that and you should be golden.

quick update: Horrid Seagate HDD was the problem. The problem was never fixed before, it would just come and go. Piece of shit HDD couldn't even fail properly making diagnosis such a pain.

Well, if you upgrade within 1 year of the Windows 10 release, you'll get the upgrade for free. From thereon, upgrading from Windows 8.1 to 10 will cost.
Can't remember the exact date, but it's around summer, if I'm not mistaken.

july 29th is the last day for a free upgrade
ALthough...
Atm you can install w10 using w7 w8 w8.1 keys; so that would mean they would keep track of all the keys that were used for upgrades...

Well I finally upgraded yesterday... The UI's graphics I must say is rather well polished and its layout is acceptable... I am pleased so far...Lets hope there isn't any irritating issues to come...
