Warriors are one of the strongest classes too, next to Warlock. Wizards can be good too, if played properly. Chinese nukers damage and AoE-targets have been improved in the R-versions of SRO, but Wizard still is more useful as damager in LTO. Though especially spear nukers with a good weapon can hit quite some damage. Anyway, majority will play Wizard/Cleric or Warrior/Cleric again - brainless mainstream.

Yeah I've seen warlocks being mandatory for PVP on that cap. I might go warlock/cleric hybrid there, might be fun with the buff fellow pet.

Just started there, character is called Alexstrasza (Warlock/Cleric). Level 18 so far, but I still haven't taken any skills. xD Too easy to kill stuff, just 1 shotting everything with the sun gear you can get.

Isn't it beta at the moment? I'm not going to play until the official release.

Unless they're idiots who don't know what beta means and aren't going to do a wipe, in which case I will download it post-haste!

Yes, it's beta for now. They said they won't do a wipe if nothing game breaking arises. Not planning on doing too much myself in case they do wipe though.

Yeah, it's kinda stupid they might NOT do a wipe.
A fresh start for everyone would be so much better because some people simply don't have the time to beta test or just don't want to. And if the beta is successful and no bugs are found, new players will be discouraged because a few will be in the lead already for keeping their characters.
It's a bad decision all around.

They decided to do a wipe after the beta after all. Sounds good to me.
Still haven't really decided on a main build though. Have to figure that out before the main opening, which they haven't said anything about yet.

Also, are there any plans for an SRF guild?

Is it me or warlocks take longer to cast spells between skills? It looks like in these files you have to wait for the entire animation to finish to cast another. Not sure if it's lag but it's very noticeable when you spam debuffs, it's like twice as slow now.

I might end up going Bard/Cleric myself. In that case my character's name will be Ysera. (Won't be there at launch, so hope my name(s) will still be available.)

I really enjoy Warlock as well though, but don't feel like farming loads of SP. Also, I've never been a big fan of PvP, so Bard can still be useful in PvP without doing too much. xD

Yes, it's not just you. I call it "skill delay system". It was added in isro a few years ago, I think. I don't know what's the reason. Maybe to prevent various skill cancellation techniques. However, the way it is now, it's game ruining, personally for me. Things are really twice as slow. It isn't worth it.
There is no "skill delay system" in jsro, for example.

I'd like to share my thoughts about this server too.
I don't know if there will be any way to get free silk. Together with current isro system, it is a bad combo. The number of paid things is unlimited. I'll list some of post cap110 stuff: devil spirit alchemy, new job system alchemy, fellow pets, class12+ alchemy, the list goes on.
There is also 20% prem - things might get really retarded. I have better fighting chances in jsro, lol.

I'll try this server together with my friends, but I don't have much information about it right now (donation balance etc).

I noticed they also changed the wizard casting animations but they're far less intrusive than the warlock ones.

I totally agree with Selveni. That 20% premium and the tons of other donating stuff turns me off actually. Premium should be restricted to 5%. Well it is based on isro, so no wonder it's a cash cow. I have great ideas that would improve this server. I'll think about it whether I post them in Zyain forums or not. Chances they will like my ideas are low I think.

Was thinking of buying a Fellow with that silk I got, but am I wrong or are those things not really worth it? Seems like you constantly have to spend silk on it to keep it active? Don't want that if it's the case.
