This fixed it for me: at the launcher, change the resolution to 800x600. Then you can change the resolution again once you're inside.

We hope to catch some more players interest too, but I can understand that many ppl are distrustful to a server like Phoenix Online. We're a small, non-donation and legit server and it will need some time until people realise that we won't disappear within a few weeks or months. The majority of silkroad scene played on countless servers and I guess it's comprehensible to "verify" a server for yourself before you invest time in it.

Regarding advertisement: I'd like to post some more advertisement in other forums, currently we have 5 threads in different forums (SRF, silkroadonline.de, stagetwo, rev6 and hx). I won't post a thread in epvp nor in ragezone since I think that the community is not the sort of community which you'd like to have on a legit server. If you have any other forums in mind where I could post more advertisement then please tell me, I'd highly appreciate that.

I did my part - I told a couple of friends, and one is considering playing.

Unfortunately, I think it will be a slow process. The target audience of this server -- legit (after all these years) & interested in old school game play (60 cap was like 10+ years ago) -- is pretty small. But I'm hopeful, this server has exactly what drew me and the great people I've met to the game in the first place.

The 4 masteries is awesome though. I'm considering being crazy and going int fire/light/bow/spear

I'm really sorry to hear that you cannot experience a smooth gameplay .

The server's location is France, so actually it should be possible, at least for european players, to establish a stable and fast connection to the server. If I remember correctly we've been talking in-game already and I don't expect that you're facing a location caused problem. It could be a matter from your side, though I'm not sure.

Could you give me a description of the laggs? Is it like delay or more like a stutter/short freeze of the window? Also, which OS do you use?

I'm in the united states, I think its just too far and the host just isn't low latency enough for it to be playable for me I guess

I'm on the east coast of the US. I haven't had a problem with lag so far. :/
