Hi guys, if there are any old timers from the Greece server still around what are you all up to? Is the game still as grindy as I remember? I was once a member of EliteDiebe, but that was a long time ago. How has the game changed since I've been away (2006)? Is it still impossible to login on old servers?

I never played on Greece, but in regard to the changes: oh boy, you're in for a mouthful.

Basically everything has changed since 2006. Just to mention a few (and I really mean only a few):
- Fire, Light, and Cold masteries are now moved into one new mastery called force, and what was previously known as force is now called recovery now. This makes the Chinese characters a bit stronger against European characters in general.

- You no longer get any gold or items from level 1 -> 70. This changed was made as a response to goldbots. Instead, you get tokens which can be exchanged for the items you'd normally buy for gold, but the tokens can also be used to buy Seal of Sun weapons up till 8th degree from an NPC. After level 70, monsters drop normal items and gold again.

- A slew of dungeons and instances have been added as well, such as Capture the Flag, Forgotten World, Job cave (called something else), and way more!

- The servers have merged twice now, as the activity in the game fell. This means that there now are 10 servers. Also, if you did not login within 4 months after the merge (which you didn't since you have been away since 2006), all of your items will be gone. Sadly. Not that any of those items would be worth anything anymore - but still frustrating if you have a very nice weapon for example.

Those were just a few of the changes - there really are a lot more.
Also, the servers now have a queue system to login, so that's less of a hassle these days. But generally, there are pretty much only botters left on ISRO. Most of the few legits left play on private servers - and there is a ton of private servers!

I've never been on that server but I do remember it being one of the popular ones for a certain time frame... You always heard about Venus tho...

Elite + Myrmidons .... two of the strongest clans in Greece. Elite had the famous hacker ... hmm... which I don't remember the name. He was cool though. Gave me 500m just to PK someone for him... hehe

My first server was Greece. It was so popular back then. Miss the old good days...
