We may make jokes, but we are very serious about NOT tipping. Serving doesn't take any skill and people need to stop feeling forced by society to tip the lower class. One no tip at a time, people are waking up. We are the Rosa Parks of our generation.
You're not paying for skill, you're paying for action.
I'm not saying you should always tip. Some people really just don't deserve it, but not tipping principally isn't really something to be particularly proud of. I guess it also kinda depends on where it's happening though. Some places actually pay their waiters and don't accept tips to begin with...

I am not a fan of tipping at all, I don't need some1 to bring me food from the kitchen to my table. More importantly however whatever I choose to buy should already have all associated costs included.

I agree tipping is kinda lame, and shouldn't be expected. It's up to you if you feel service for anything is worth a tip.
But these retard bodybuilders seem to blame the actual servers lol. Some of the shit they say was rather farked up, like handing hundreds of dollars to them to treat them as a bank and ask for change, just to make them think they might get a nice tip, then give nothing. Or boasting about going out to eat and guess whose not tipping. And that idiotic stuff they write on the receipts. Makes me ashamed to be the same species as these idiots.
Edit: Thats what girls say to you bro? "Not even the tip" if you know what i mean

A part of me have a problem with tipping because I feel that most restaurant owners exploit this social paradigm to compensate for the low wages they pay their staff...

Well he lives in Canada so their tipped minimum wage jobs are probably better paying compared to the states. It's very rude to not tip someone on those low wages.
I don't tip, ever. It's not customary here in The Netherlands. However if I were to go to the USA or another country where it is deemed normal to tip I would. The servers aren't at fault, it's the corporations that **** them over so why should they suffer?
If you don't tip, that's your choice but making those drawings or putting a million hashtags on the receipt is just pathetic. I sincerely hope you can find some professional help vegeta.
If there's one thing I learned from working in restaurants its, servers don't forget people and rarely forgive. If you aren't gonna tip do it at a 1 time place or your food will always be the first to be cooked but the last to leave the kitchen. We'd have servers always tell us to hold off on food on account of douche'ness.

Doing that to people who just don't tip is stupid. I get it if you'd do it to douches.

To be fair it's dependent a lot on how good the service was. If you're walking up to me with an attitude and scoffing and just not being pleasant, enjoy not getting a tip.
The situation puts me in a weird spot.... By tipping I feel I am supporting the restaurant owner's greed to not pay their staff well enough....But if I don't tip I'd be screwing over the server.. I end up tipping all the time because of the latter while cursing the former....

I don't see how you find yourself taking responsibility for the financials of this other functional adult, actually I do understand, just don't agree with it.

You're from Canada, the first receipt I saw was from Texas. I want to see a receipt from Canada with the sayain prince symbol on it and that says "Restaurant Copy" at the bottom. You can put my username on there too to make me feel special.

This. As the OP, you need to deliver.
When I go out, I tip 10% just for the basic service, if I feel like my server went above & beyond for me, I'll tip 20%, if I feel like the server was rude or whatever, I'll give 0-5% tip depending on how I feel. I've never been angry enough to leave 1 cent tip though LOL.
I've always tipped 15%~30% depending on price/service. Rationalize all you want, if you live in a country where tipping is customary and you don't, you're a cheap dick. No other way around it.
Scribbling crap all over the bill doesn't prove anything except being a troll ...The bill is not the receipt...The receipt is generated once your card is swiped which will show what you actually paid....where is the receipt?...

I'm from The Netherlands, and I've never ever tipped a waiter. Its not a custom here. I mean, you get paid to do your job, and thats it. Deal with it. Why should I pay even more than I should? You do your job great, thanks for the drinks. You've got your hour wage.
Im going to the US this summer, and it'll be interesting on how the Americans will react to my giving no fees at all. Its such a silly idea, tipping.
