Well Eeyore, that's just how I see it. I guess I have more self respect and think multiple sexual partners without any real love involved is meaningless and overall gross. Also, she's doing it for money. (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/whore) Thus she is a "whore".

Everyone's got their opinion. That's just mine.

If you pay someone for sex it's illegal but as long as you record it and distibute it it's a business. So, you're not wrong :yay:

Everyone is "freaking out" because not one person on the plane had any cell phone calls made or anything and there would at least be someone to call a family member or something. There still is no definite confirmation if they are dead or alive though it does seem grim. They could have all had their cell phones taken away. No one knows anything for sure just yet.

Also, the plane just disappeared off the radar, no sudden loss of altitude, no may day call, nothing. It just seemed to "vanish".

It has to be in the ocean though, I don't really think it was the Mayans.

Wouldn't there be a loss of altitude or need for mayday calls if it went down in the ocean as well?

A part of me follows along with your opinion but a greater part of me realizes that this opinion is not even yours but what was spoon fed to us as we grew up....Its partially evident with how you reached for the dictionary...To be perfectly honest there is nothing wrong or right about what she does...She's just living a lifestyle she deems suitable for herself and that's the truth....

But it's hard to see that through our brainwashed mind that was conditioned to think one way...It's that same brainwashed mind (for a lot of us) to not make a big deal about male porn stars or males in general having multiple sex partners but to readily label females as whores when they do it....So again because of this I cant judge her too much...and I shouldn't at all...

Spoon fed to believe by who? No one sat me down and told me not to sell my body for money, I grew up learning all of this for myself. It's how I feel and according to the definition of "whore" from various places, everywhere, it's also a fact. I used the dictionary just to help back up the facts. Nothing more. I didn't make this word up. Telling me I'm brainwashed and more so that this opinion isn't even mine is basically saying "you don't get to have an opinion and you can't think for yourself". That's a bit rude or maybe you didn't mean to word it that way? You don't come off as being that kind of person.

A part of me can understand someone doing it who is in absolute desperate need of money but she's on TV, smiling with all rainbows and unicorns about it, almost like she's encouraging others to do the same. She's also pretty much giggling and showboating it. Gender doesn't change my opinion.

I watched it again and all I could do is just facepalm. I can't explain it any further and I kinda don't want to. I hate giving my opinions about anything and always regret it. Maybe I don't convey them properly? It's also super derailing the topic anyway.

Firstly, I'm not trying to be rude...just making an observation...We're all brainwashed to varying degrees to think a certain way...conditioning starts in the home (through verbal means and behavior watching) then by society and through the various mediums...Thats why I think it's hard to call your/our opinion our own...Its more like we adopted them rather than formulate them ourselves....It's at most times hard to be truly objective because of this...If you grew up in a household that condones this girls behavior we wouldn't be having this discussion...That's all I am getting at...

But is it really possible to have a truly objective opinion? Your opinion on something is always colored by something. You can't just appear in this world without any past experience or memory and see this woman and say what you think about it. Having an opinion already kinda requires past experience and knowledge. And thus any kind of experience that influences our opinion cannot be considered brainwashing in my book. It's brainwashing if it is being done for the sole purpose of changing one's opinion without them realising it.
That said, I don't think she's a bitch and I don't care what she does, if she's happy with it then there's no problem.

What you said is true but knowing all of this provides a platform to help re-shape and question our opinion and thinking...A lot of us don't even bother...We just run with our spoon fed perceptions...

So does she need to do porn and see what it's like before disliking it and feeling its gross?

If thats how things worked then I don't see how anyone could truly have their own opinion about anything until they find out about/experience something themselves.

I think your assuming too much about Hypers opinion, I mean for all you know she could of had porn star parents, right? lol. Not sure what makes you assume it's brainwashing.

Brainwashed?
Porn industry... is a disgusting mixture of abuse, violence etc...
Well, how do you explain the extremely.... high suicide rate of porn stars?
They were "happily brainwashed?"

I'm going to simply say, I disagree with that and some things you've said about me aren't true. I'm 31 after all, I am an adult. I feel that I am an individual who can think for herself and make her own choices at this point.

I'm not really assuming much...Its not a stretch to observe that we're a product of our environment to a significant degree...our core values instilled/pushed on us at a younger age (which is fine up to a point)....and those values were fostered well into adulthood....we unwittingly identify with most of what we've been taught and tend to not really question it.....

Example being a whore is a whore because others told us what makes a whore....a girl can't juggle multiple partners simultaneously without invoking/urging us to think she's a slut...these things we accept...mostly unconsciously....We think we've made up our own minds about these things but that was already done for us a long time ago....there is some truth in this....

Even though I'm trained to share the same sentiment of most people that what she's doing is slutty I have to commend her efforts for challenging conventional belief...If only that much.....Anywho let me stop derailing the thread right here...

This story has been pretty silent (or I just haven't been paying that much attention anymore), but what happened to that piece of metal they thought was a part of the plane they found off the coast of Australia or w.e?

Ok Mr. Armchair Psychologist, explain this:

I was raised Catholic, went through Communion and Confirmation, went to church every sunday, and now I hate religion. I was taught god is all knowing and will forgive you of your sins and punish you for your sins and if you're a bad person you'll go to hell.

Obviously I'm not a product of that environment to any degree.

Just because you can't think for yourself doesn't mean the rest of us can't.

As of today, no one has any clue, now it's anyone's guess and different theories are being speculated. I feel bad for the families. One day it's "probably dead" then the next it's "possibly alive".

I didn't say people can't challenge conventional perception and go against what they've been taught....I said we're a product of our environment to a significant degree...not 100% completely...I even commend the porno girl for challenging the status quo...I'm merely observing that we tend to not go against it...

In your case you probably at some point in your life re-evaluate what this religion shit was all about...kudos to you...or it could be that you were influenced by more stronger factors that exists outside your family circle...These factors brought new perspectives to what you and your family were doing and triggered a reversal in your belief..

Apparently the Malaysian airlines "text messaged" the families, after the prime minister said that the passengers are "most likely dead".

Professional work Malaysia.

I also firmly believe BuDo is the brainwashed one. His text is always black and he trails off on all his sentences. "Like this..."

That's all Malaysia's been doing and why the families are so pissed/upset with them. But getting news like that via text message. That's messed up.
