The real mistake is highlighted when you make note that the teleporter's shadow isn't as faded as it should be when compared to the truck driver's....Both of them almost at same distance from the street light...They dropped the ball on this one....Nice try..

Well you literally can't be in two places at once, so it would make sense that the original you is instantly transported to the next place.
That being said, I don't see time travel or teleportation ever being possible.
