I dont see any feasible method to get to a big group tbh, unless they can hack a phonetower or something.

Least interesting prediction ever.

Nothing special will happen this year, just more phablets.

phone battery that lasts more than a day or two, phones have seen great improvement in everything except for battery life, can't we get a battery that needs to be charged every month, or doesn't need to be charged at all?

We've been using the same technology for phone batteries since their invention almost. The battery in modern day phones like the iphone's, galaxy's, xperia's or lumia's use nearly the same battery a nokia 3310 had. I remember reading about a more efficient working battery a long time ago but I have no idea if that has been developed into something promising by now. It sure would be nice.

On the other hand, if people weren't so phone dependent we wouldn't need better batteries. I have a galaxy s3 and when I didn't use it much (even with daily traveling) I probably had to charge every 5 or so days. Nowadays it's either every day or every other day depending on how active I've been because I too fell victim to the phone generation even though I try to fight it as hard as I can ;)

I actually try to embrace the phone generation because I hate not having a smartphone. Ofc I wouldn't use half the apps and shit on there but still I would like to have a lot of the stuff a smartphone provides.

I didn't make my point clear. Ofcourse I embrace the wonders of my smartphone, being able to look up where I need to go while I'm out (and lost) is great. I mainly meant it that when you're at a family gathering (or friends gathering) and 50-90% of the people are looking at their screen almost constantly something, somewhere went terribly wrong.

The thing is, I wouldn't have anything to do in my phone if I popped it out every 2 seconds.
