Leeching EXP off of Botters
HOW TO LEECH EXP FROM BOTTERS-THE GUIDE
Hello Fellow.. Freinds?
Heres a guide and or theory i made up one warm summer night while messing around in SRO.
FYI- This guide does not imply botting at all and theyre is nothing in thois guide that i think is against the rules.
Anywho Here goes.
How? And whaa?
Mkay basically this guide helps u leech exp of a bot.
Lets get started shall we.
Step 1- Find a bot
Some bots have a feature where they will go inside anyones party that invites them.
Step-2 Find a bot who has that feature enabled.
Step 3- Set up a auto share party,Invite the botter using the Invite feature,
Step-4 Trace them
and go afk.
Guys if theyre is anything against the rules in this... Please delete thread
ALSO
Posted my zphantom
Also put on auto item share so that the bot gives you half the items Smile
I took a guild mate (lvl 43) to penon and yeti and he got 1-1.4k per kill which is decent for him. If bots attack trader spawn thieves, you can trace on a trading horse for more hp or camel even.
Where to find your slave bot:
If you're less than 50 you can't get into the caves so thats about 1/2 the bots unavailable to most right there. If you can get it, there are plenty of bots at the strong and power earth ghosts and you'll get about 1.8k
Otherwise, tagging along bots at ujigi (49/50), penon (passive monsters lvl 54), ishades (just find a safe spot, flowers don't move 51/52), and yeti (yeti's are passive, devil's aren't, lvl 59/60) are good.
Thanks for the noble post XD

lol, nice thinking. most bots auto-join random pts in pt match though, so this may or may not work. just make sure you have lots of pots and your auto pot is set pretty high, or you'll get gangbanged while the bot does its thing. especially if it teles out of the area and you are left there alone.

Thx IceCrash for my awesome sig :)

Yeah thats why when poeple ask me about this theory i recomend to them useeing it to grind on enemys 2-3 levels lower, and i recomend adjusting the armor trees you use on the enmys u are fightning for this.
Its intended for strgnthers so they wont die as much.
@Physcoo- Yes thats what i fear, i do it while sro is minimized so i can see whats going on, i put SRO in Window mode (Alt-Ctrl_Enter) and use my comp i normally would and if i get pmed by that dunce crayon im ready

Well bacically that could happen, But They cant legitimatley do that because what if u were doing a trade run with him and u used trace and went afk and ur transports got killed and he just wnated to grind.
Or what if the person doing this dosent speak english or has sawn off hands and cant type? But i do this wehn i do oteher stuff on my PC by putting SRO in window mode

I havent read the replies so i dunno if anyone said this already but...Why would i trace a bot and go AFK if the chances of me being raped are pretty much 95%?
The plan is good but the tracing part sux bawlz :\ Unless you set your HP auto-pot to 85% and buy shitload of HP potions which is a waste of money.
The whole plan will go to hell after you die once and all the exp you got from the bot will go to hell as well(unless you managed to survive for hours which is not gonna happen lol)
So i dont think that would work.
You could always babysit though
haha XD
*goes to do that* O_O!!

I don't like this at all.
I was going to say the same thing at first, but it's not. here's why:
1. No illegal programs are being used.
2. Auto-exp parties are part of the game.
3. The ability to "trace" another player is part of the game.
4. There are no rules that you can't walk around/idle outsidie of town.
5. It would be no different than if you parterned up with a regular player and let them do all the killing.
I don't like the idea either, but it's definitly not the same as botting. I don't see it as a legitimate means of playing though - if you had a bot and did this with a second character, I'd find it hyprocritical to say the second character is "legit".
Guess it just depends on how you look at it.

Gold bots are the suk though.
Dont party with them...Seriously -__- they SUK!
They kill 1 mob per forever.
Go with the bots that morons use to lvl up..Those bots who are actually used for so called "playing".
They kill much more then gold bots i believe.
And no its not as bad as botting because you get free exp and they get less.
You could just go to a place with high lvl mobs(yetis perhaps)party with a bot and babysit your char so it wont be raped by a champion/giant.
The bot loses alot of exp and you get the same exp as if you were grinding on your own XD(at my lvl at least)so you pretty much screw them over and get free exp

Not really, since powerleveling is only illegal in the sense of giving out your account for others to play on for you. If you want to "powerlevel" your own characters, there's nothing wrong with that, although it'd not call it powerleveling hehe.

I'd say it's more "lame" than botting., but that's just me

"Rushing" if the goal is to level up without having to do much. It diesn't work well in this game unless the higher level has near a 0 gap and a sos or higher weapon to take on oranges and reds. Even so, you only can get so much exp, they really limit it.

No one in this thread said you were lame or your "theory" (which is an idea) was lame. Only thing that was said was "lame" was the actually doing of it. There's a big difference there, so nothing to be sorry about, people are allowed to express their opinions as long as they follow the forum rules.
