Never used snapchat but it might be for the better that they didn't sell it. Even though 3 bil is quite nice.

And I've only recently started using snapchat. I enjoy it because itit's very laid back. Unlike any ofy fb status'/pictures, where I always aim for, and get, at least 20 "likes" on due to my word smithing skills/bodydatsbanging.

But with snapchat, I can just yolo and send that dick pic to whoever I want.

I do get where you're coming from but it's not so much the idea itself that is worthy but the social following it amassed since it's inception....FB is interested in absorbing the existing social user base of these simple ideas into its own social media portfolio....

Meh he probably has wider plans for it, or he's holding out for more money. Didn't tumblr go for like 1$ billion? And that site has waaay more staying power than Snapchat.

Kinda sucks how all these tech companies are buying up all these start ups, guess that's just how it is :3. Feel like soon there will be 2-3 companies fighting it out like it is in almost every other industry..

Vine/Instagram allow for creativity because you can actually share that with the world.

You can't do that on snap chat. Part of it's charm though, I suppose.
