The novelist who's works inspired games like Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon and who's novels where turned into the following movies: The Sum of all fears, The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger has passed on Oct 1. ...I just found out when I logged on to play some Ghost Recon online. They got his picture posted up on the loading screen...RIP..
