out of all of those salvation players who joined gw2, only me and smegma stayed, guess it's not appealing for everyone, or it was hard to overcome the silkroad addiction. but I'm sure that it beats silkroad in every single aspect of MMO games.

Too bad they didnt keep the gvg system from guild wars 1. . .that was the best instance of pvp ever in a game. it was way more fun than the MOBA's out now. . .it had so much potential to be great. . .

I got fed up with GW2 faster than with any other game. Using the same boring skills with the lame, short animations again and again. I felt like I was playing a complicated hack n' slash game. Only build that seemed interesting was the wizard but after seeing some videos, I knew it would take me ages to master such thing and I'd still be too slow. I also hate stuff like followers/summons because controlling them, investing in them, is like having more than 1 character and you need focus on even more things during a fight.
To stay on the topic:
I love how the myth forums were taken down just before they were supposed to give an ETA. Now they have been closed for like 15 hours or so. Starting to seem like just another SOON server.
yeah, I kinda thought the same thing about the myth site going down right when they were going to spill the beans about whats going on. It may well be another couple of months before they are truly ready. It's a shame really, I mean you do all this work on you server and adding in all kinds of cool features, and yet you can't get everything done and online THEN advertise for it. Or at least give a generous estimate when things will be finished.
the whole "it'll be up when it's up" stance is just old and tired.
it's more like "well you guys better hurry up, or another P-server(hopefully venture) will be up and take all your customers. . .it's your money"
If you get people hyped up and have trouble in delivering, people are going to hate you and not really trust you in the future.

Tera is good for 2 weeks, great graphics and interesting combat. With time you start noticing flaws. Game breaking flaws that are caused by bad design and engine that was never created for mmo games. That being said, those 2 weeks were fun.
Played GW2 since first beta weekend event, pre-ordered the same day they allowed it. Played it for about 6 months, had one amazing guild and one amazing community, barely used chat since we were on TS3. It was an amazing experience meeting so many amazing people. However, due to real life i had to quit, then too many things changed and i had no will to catch up again(fractals and shit). It's easier for me to play on a pserver because i don't need to prove anything to anyone anymore, even to me. I have achieved almost everything in isro/sro. I am looking forward to this server, it will be indeed probably my last sro experience.

Well, I had no choice. . . all the other srf legits that pretty much made up 99.9% of the guild I was in left/stopped logging in/stopped partying/stop doing temple/fgw/jobbing. . . .So even if I didn't like the idea of a 125 cap (seriously wtf joymax) I didn't want to play on a dead server competing with botters with full +12 moon 100% full blue 100% full white sets that can even tnak medusa as a wizard gear. Hell, I was in a theiving party of 8 with my mana tambour up and all lvl 98-100 gear +3 with some blues on it, and our WHOLE THEIVING PARTY got wiped by TWO WIZARDS in ONE ATTACK.
