You too seem to be fooled by the media too. As much as Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon, the media profiled Zimmerman to their own agenda too.

Defense attorneys said the case was classic self-defense.
They said Martin knocked Zimmerman down and was slamming the older man's head against the concrete sidewalk when Zimmerman fired his gun.

Zimmerman being the neighborhood watchdog and acting in hyper protective mode due to recent break-ins wanted to make sure this wasn't another prospective criminal staking out his neighborhood.....So he called the cops and wanted to keep an eye on the kid till they arrive (possibly)....So he followed the kid...

The kid feeling uncomfortable with this weird person ("creepy ass cracker" - as per testimony) shadowing him, turned to confront Zimmerman yelling "What are you following me for?" (as per testimony again)... which the situation then turned into a brawl and Zimmerman felt he had to now defend himself and shoot the kid killing him...

So who's at fault here?...Well I can't blame the kid...anyone shadowing you would make you feel out of place...you'd either want to run, call somebody (or the cops) or turn and face your follower based on your personality.....I can understand Zimmerman's concern but it's clear he has no clue on how to handle engagements of this nature and totally fuck things up and thus deserved to be charged.... Looking suspicious isn't a crime and if it was a crime Zimmerman isn't the law to engage anyone in a public area about it....

Zimmerman shouldn't of gone up to him or followed him, martin shouldn't of tried to fight him. Gun makers shouldn't of made the gun that was used(sarcasm). Whats the point of blame if it wasn't an intentional murder.

If he didn't die and there was no gun and the cops arrived as they were fighting on the ground I wonder how it would of played out? Would zimmerman be arrested for following him then? Or would it have really been self defense even though he followed him?

Trayvon should have kept walking and called the police if he kept following him.
Zimmerman shouldn't have just fired without issuing a warning, his life wasn't exactly in peril quite yet. A busted nose a few scrapes on his head isn't enough to warrant deadly force against an unarmed kid.
The situation would have ended much better if either of them showed some restraint. :l

Trayvon Martin is the kind of asshole I wouldn't want to hang out with. Multiple suspensions, burglary tools, an egotistical attitude..just an overall delinquent. The type of person I wouldn't be able to trust. Sure, they may not be good reasons for someone to be shot to death but he was definitely far from what some people imagined to be. He was never an innocent, angelic victim and the man people wish to be convicted is only being portrayed as a racist with no concrete evidence to back it up. I don't give two shits whether Zimmerman goes to jail or not because it's not related to me. I also don't care that Martin died because I don't know him nor would I miss another jackass roaming the streets.

The kid's personality or his past doesn't justify what happened to him...
