I was a PC gamer for a few years with good all around stats in all of my games [I was in the top 0% in HS/accuracy/KDR in BF3 for quite a while], top 100 in HL2 DM, banned from almost every nameable Black Ops and BFBC2 server for "aimbotting".
I left PC because A. dedicated servers are a mixed blessing as you can see above.
B. You can never tell who's using an ESP/wallhack
C. There are very few people who play PC for anything besides LoL and FB games anymore. I've yet to meet a PC gamer in the last 4 years in person. Real shit.
D. PC gamers always get shafted by devs.
Basically, lower graphics and playing with your friends while coming in 1st** almost every game vs. being forever alone with better graphics.
I could build a SLI Titan rig right now, but I don't see any fun in PC anymore.
And no, Xbox and PS3 are not holding back PC games, lazy, cheap ass developers are. Porting will be easier now, but that doesn't mean they're going to give a single shit about PC, as usual.
** I use a mouse and keyboard emulator called a "XIM Edge". In some games it's near 1:1 to PC. Talk about really pissing your friends off.
But yeah, don't care much about the console design itself, because what's going to matter more is how the controller is like. Doesn't look much different on the Xbox part and I'm still worried about the triggers on the PS4 controller, they still look a bit wrong. But I'm still going to be a PC only gamer for a long time so I don't really care much.
