You know, for someone who lived in/near Nashville for years, you'd think I'd have seen some celebrity of some sort or another. But sadly, I haven't.

almost only hockeyplayers. Lived on same street as Fredrik Modin, he used to play with us kids on teh street. Henrik Zetterberg is from around the block. Erik Gustafsson in flyers and I played in the same team. I think that's about it.

i always have wondered.... was those guys good at hockey when they were younger? were they so dominant that you could tell they were something special? As for gustafsson, did he play as a defensive man? could you tell he was a good defender and if so, what was it that made him stand out?

just wonder if these professionals are really talented at a younger age or reasonably average people that put a lot of hard hard work to become great players.

He was short, played forward/center 2nd line, not top 5, he also played football. He didnt really stand out at anything, more then his winning mentality, he used te be the footballteam captain, really good sense of knowing the game, understanding how to position etc, read plays, not really good shoter, skater, anything that stood out tbh. He didnt even get picked out to the local best team in swedish highest division for tryout so he went to michigan to go to college instead and play icehockey.

Hey, the New Zealand episode aired yesterday and it was pretty damn funny. This whole season looks to be promising from what they showed at the beginning of the episode. Can't wait for the hovercraft mini van.
