A tip on trolling... Don't do it.
i think its a bit harsh to say the people that think games has increased violence or crime are stupid. There is no way of telling if it had an effect or not and there is no real study that can argue either way. I do not believe that video game has effected people in that way though, i think its just an excuse.

the way this sentence is constructed is wrong. A sentence shouldn't start with the word "so" in this manner and there doesn't need to be a comma before the word "or" but at least you are trying.
Oh lordy... You have so much to learn... and yes, there should be a comma before "or".
Fiction wrote:Oh lordy... You have so much to learn... and yes, there should be a comma before "or".
you're wrong but ok.
Now I really hope you're trolling and not really this ignorant. "Or" is a conjunction... and it was between two independent causes. Someone that doesn't even use caps, and has the mentality of a 9y/o... yeah I think you're trolling now..
Anyways, here's to hoping they come out with a decent FPS-RPG that actually has a good aiming system, on the consoles!
*BlackFox wrote:Well, do violent video games "desensitize people to violence?" I think yes... in some cases
Our capacity to become desensitize (and sensitized) stems from within. Something we are already born with. It is part of our adaptive make up. Its not a result of video games... Every mentally stable person knows the difference between real violence and cartoon violence....
Video game violence only mimics the real world thus it is the real world/environment that should receive all the focus...I highly doubt that the virtual world (once recognized as virtual/fake by the perceiver) has any significant impact as the real world/environment of physical abuse/killings which does have the effect of making us hyper sensitized or desensitized...

holy shit u got it! congrats! oh and i kinda dont like fps/rpg systems especially over multiplayer. cod is similar because the better players have a higher lvl and get better guns and can kill less abled players easier so the better players have more of an advantage then they did before. kill streaks is bs for that matter... you can get a 5 kill streak and then get the rest of your kills via kill streak weapons like helicopters, mortars, nukes etc.
but oh well, im wrong because its a highly successful franchise.

Of course, xD But remember that mentally ill individuals.. may view/play violent video games.
If someone with a mental illness started acting violently after playing video games I think their mental illness would be the center of attention rather than the game since anything violent( The news, books, movies) could have set them off...

i wasnt trolling with my last post... i thought cod2 and cod4 was the best in the series but i prefered playing cod2 because there was none of the streak bullcrap that allowed a sniper to camp out, get 5 kills and then win the map (score map) by using airstrike, helicopter then die, respawn get 5 kills rinse repeat.
Why is it that almost all people get butthurt by the fact that some people are smart enough to use a long range weapon to pick off the idiots running around the map like chickens with their heads cut off. Don't get mad cause someone kills you without you ever seeing them.
Mw2 was my personal favorite because of the nuke and IMO the best killstreaks and maps.

Amen.
I rarely played on live, but when I did, I was always amazed by how stupid people were.

I hit up Live erryday, and actually got pretty decent. I decided to go tryhard, and reached a 3.1 kd, or something, then stopped giving a fock about kdr, and just mucked about with friends. Good fun MW2, easily the best cod I've played.
