they are boring, they use autotune, they are hipster and they sound horrible live which puts me in doubt to whether they actually performed the songs in the studio or get other musicians to play the instruments.

also to consider a artist in pop to be even semi creditable they need to have wrote their own songs. considering they have a producer or other name besides every song's list of of affiliated people, id also like to know if they did actually write it or if it was just a producer handing down stuff. its rather suspicious when you have whole bands writing a song but one other person is also involved with writing that song... ESPECIALLY when you deem yourself as "indie"
