I will try my best here to reply to the positive and ignore the negative. It's great that everyone is discussing ideas, but can we please try to keep it a bit more civil? It's so much more productive the way guys.
One thing that has been discussed here is diet. I probably should have outlined my daily eating routine to make it a bit easier for everyone. I believe I eat fairly healthy and I eat a considerable amount of food. I couldn't physically eat 15 slices of bread a day, I'd be spraying chunks in the toilet like no tomorrow. But I can try to add in some more food somewhere if it's needed.
Usually I start the day off with a bowl of cereal, usually either wheetbix or oats. Between morning tea and lunch time I have 3 tuna sandwiches on multigrain bread, each with lettuce and tomato on them. In between meals I try to eat 3 pieces of fruit every day. Dinner consists of 400-500g of meat (crumbed chicken, lamb etc) with 3-4 serves of veggies on the side. I will seldom have desert or a treat, usually once a week.
Getting rid of the extremes, I think I could probably eat a bit more in the morning but I think I'd really struggle fitting any more food into my diet. This is what I normally eat to sustain my weight and it's usually feel like enough haha.
As far as exercises go thanks for the positive feed back. I love chin ups! Although I haven't really got a place I can do them at. I will look into finding a park near by that has some sort of exercise structures on it or even just a pole I could use. Despite all the arguments I feel like I should continue to do some cardio, though perhaps not as much as I'm doing now. Even if its counter productive I really do enjoy running and feel it's essential to keeping fit. If I stop running for a few months it's going to ruin my fitness and endurance and that's something I want to avoid. Perhaps I could limit it to 1 or 2 sessions per week? I have a few different exercise routines that I've never heard of being mentioned both here and through messages, so I will have to take some time to research what they are exactly and how to do them.
Thanks to the response guys, both in the thread and through PM's. I appreciate all the help and perhaps I will keep everyone posted about my progress along the way
you should try to add proteins on every meal about 15-30g everytime, i actually take 24g prot as snack every 2 hours.
so yeah get ome eggs in that breakfast, eat nuts with your fruits etc
@vortexx the picture you posted is on a bulking session, this guy could get lean in a month juts by cutting the carbs out and he would be still bigger than those two guys you posted.
you dont build upper body muscle from jogging lmao
oh and **** you about my abs

^ are those piercings?
On topic: Also planning on bulking up a bit. My body fat is so low that I always have a 6-pack. Which, unfortunately, makes it had for me to stay motivated to actually keep working on them.
But anyhow, gonna finally have enough money to blow on weight gaining here in a bit. Kind of excited about it. The plan is to gain 30 pounds. (Is currently 6'5 and 155 pounds). 185 is the dream goal. Going for a toned lean look.
One thing I've always hated about working out/weight gaining is how much damn time it takes. Kind of ridiculous tbh. But yeah.
Good luck, twil.

Show us tha face, Vegeta!
P. S. I'm 188cm (6'2) and 89kg (196 pounds). And you've already seen my pic. I could really use some bulking up. But the problem is, I neither have time nor motivation to excercise.

And once again you're spouting nonsense. You can't cut carbs out. Your body needs carbs so you have the energy to exercise to build muscle. Only way for him to get lean is to do cardio.
As for the people I posted, those two don't work out as much as the last guy I posted. They are footballers, they need speed, not weight. Though being a bit physically is good in football.
Also, I barely see a 4-pack in that picture. And you probably took that picture from someone's facebook or some shít. You have posted so much fake and trolling shít why would I believe you?

Re: Dat 6 pack!
Bahaha.
And oh, yeah, a few years back I gained 10 pounds of solid muscle (not that much, I know) just by doing 100 push ups + 100 crunches a night. And while that's not hard by any means, and not to mention I didn't really try to increase my diet. So, I feel like if I actually try to seriously put on some mass, it won't be too horribly hard.
Also, sadly, where I live, there are no gyms. So ima probably being working out at home. But that'll probably better for me, fark the time it takes traveling to the gym. (Not that I have an option here, but yeah)

Haha. Eating as much as you can (til you feel like puking) while never doing cardio is one of the most retarded shít I've read. ROFL. You won't burn those huge amounts of calories from lifting weights, or doing bodyweight exercises. You'll get a belly so fast that way. Did OP say he wanted a belly? He said he wanted a six pack. You didn't read the thread before you posted your reply, you tried to troll, or you're genuinely retarded and you believe the shít you say.
BlackFox even just gave you a valid source with proof and you disregarded it.
-Eat till you're not full.
-Every meal needs to be low in calories, fat, and sugar.
-Carb, Protein, and Vegetable in every meal
-Work out all your muscles.
-Do cardio
And you got a six pack/strong lean body in no time.

Re: Dat 6 pack!
Erm.. Just throwing it out there. A well-balanced diet (which means a complete protein RDA) should be enough for your purposes. The ketosis diet works aesthetically but it does its damage on the inside. Running on fat alone means an upward spike in ketone, which raises blood pH...leading to ketoacidosis. Yes, you want to "burn" fat but you have to be careful on how you do it. You want your body to run on carbohydrates primarily. I cringe whenever people mention these special diets -- Atkins, thin fluids, gluten-free (for people without Celiac disease), ketosis.. oh well, it's your body.

Re: Dat 6 pack!
Best thing to do to get your abs the way you want is to do excercises that work said abs out. You do need cardio daily, or you will just end up a bulky fk who gets out of breath from walking room to room.
You "do" not need to diet, ever. Most peoples problems is portion control. Now enough about that.
Vegeta may be an obnoxious fk at times, no offense man..:p, but alot of what he says works.(6year MMA Trainer here)

Re: Dat 6 pack!
Thanks for all the advice guys, I really do appreciate it. I haven't had much time to reply properly to all the comments and private messages, but I have read them all and truly appreciate the input.
A big thanks to Vegeta, actually, for the eating tips. In particular the eggs and nuts tip. I love boiled eggs and adding 1-2 eggs to my lunch is incredibly easy and tasty! I never would have thought of it :p
I'm also annoyed at everyone here for being so disrespectful. Some of you suggest cardio, some don't. but just because you don't agree with each other it doesn't mean you should carry on with the nonsense I've seen here. The only thing I dislike about SRF is the pathetic arguing that occurs and I truly hoped my thread could have avoided it.
I'm requesting a lock on it now as I really don't want to deal with these petty arguments and I've gotten a lot of handy information. I appreciate your input and if you have anything else that you'd wish to add then feel free to PM me. Just keep it civil guys, seriously.
