Same here. Well i didnt play for 10 years, only 2 but i used to skate 3-4 times a week and then it dropped down to like once every 6 months cause i moved. Just recently moved closer to a rink and have been going every weekend, its great.
i have to start working out seriously again, esp abs have gotten very weak cause i been slacking yesterday i did Squat hang clean RDLs All at very low weight because been having back problems (weak abs)

So as I go onto probation I figured I might as well get back into shape, my question to you guys is what is the best thing to shed weight aside from running. (I have a bum knee so running is not a great idea for me)
Perhaps swimming? I did a lot of swimming as a kid (1-2 hours an afternoon, 3 times a week with a trainer and I use to swim every other day in the backyard pool) and it always kept me lean and fit. I stopped swimming at about 15 (I was doing rep swimming before I quit but got sick of the competition) and as soon as I stopped swimming I put on about 10-15 kilos. When I turned 16 or so and started growing taller I lost it all though. But yeah, swimming is quite enjoyable and is amazing for fitness.

you'll loose more weight having a good diet and doing nothing than running on a threadmill eating like an idiot.
