Problem with a chinese only server is that half, probably more than half, of players enjoy playing on Euro's. My self included. So a chinese only cap means half the players wouldn't even try the server. Which isn't good.

Keep Euro, just nerf them a little and buff Chinese a little. I can spam sudden twist and daredevil and win nearly all of my fights by facerolling.
At any cap aside from 120 Chinese get dumped on.
Granted I play as a warrior/cleric 99% of the time I'd like to see Chinese be strong for once, maybe I'd actually play as one for the first time in years.

Team work. Few things are more fun than getting into a party full of pro players, going out and raping face. Whether it be in FW, FGW, or whatever. Shit's fun as hell.

Chinese lack the team play aspect that makes euros interesting.

^That's what I thought. I wonder if it's possible to make the Chinese team players too. It's possible to add team play skills for the Chinese, but then each build would have to be adjusted so they actually gain something from team play, otherwise there'd just be party skills on a party that already does well without. But modifying the attributes of all the skills so that that team play is recommended, but at the same time maintaining the balance between builds is difficult. Otherwise we'd end up having chinese wizards and warriors which would make 1v1 PvP pretty boring.

Yeah. There's actually been some efforts with the new chinese skills, such as chinese PQ/better force heals/force buffs, to make chinese more team play oriented. But their still too tanky by themselves for it to actually work out all that well. They'd need a longer pot delay to make them rely on team work more.

For me I totally love eu chars. I agree with Tasdik, the pt play is the most fun part of the game (atleast for me). I never liked solo grinding or solo PvP - maybe because I never experienced Silkroad when it had Chinese chars only ( I started playing SRO at end of 90 cap/ beginning of 100 cap). I never really had a chinese char, too. It's just amazing what a HUGE difference it makes when you grind in a 8/8 handgrinder pt compared to solo grinding. When I grind solo, I usually give up after like 10 minutes - it has nothing entertaining for me. Different with eu chars, always action going on in a group.

20s sleep? you can reapply it for almost unlimited sleep... if it didnt work you could use warlock stun and re-trap... then run away until its off CD.

also decrease the offering time... i loved people raging about offering. Sorry if you arent targeting a cleric then you deserve to get offered anyway.

As much as I like the cooperative party play of Euros, I have to admit I miss the days of Chinese only. Relatively less class balance issues and so much less crying about balance issues.

I also miss the independence of playing a Chinese character, but on a server that has both I feel obligated to go Euro so I don't get left out of parties.

Wizz skills are too boring for me, the animations are almost all the same and there is little variety. The gap between the highest and lowest dmg skills is also small. And every normal mob is a one hit anyways so you don't have to think which skills to use. When you run across a giant, then it gets a little more interesting but then it's more about the subclass.

Probably not in any sort of serious sense. Silkroad, no matter which cap or setting or anything like that, severely lacks any significant PVE end game and PVP has been boring since Day 1.

No good PVE end game = me not playing.

Yes i would if the level system was same as other MMO, with events and pvp arenas 1v1 3v3 etc. Couldnt go back to any grind fest levelling im done with that.
