+1 but thats what u get when u promote ur server before its opened

It is good to promote your server before launch. Just start promoting it once it is ready to go, because otherwise you'll have delays. If you start promoting it after opening, people are going to join slowly and there'll not be as much interest as no one wants to play alone. While players wait for the launch, they gather more players and you'll have more activity right after the launch. Also, people are going to enjoy it more because they don't have to wait for others to catch up to play together and stuff. What's important is sticking to the deadline.
