Weirdest thing ever. I recently been watching a lot of korean dramas and I eventually ended up trying the show "Miss Rose" and there it was. I really wanted to watch this but I couldn't stand the dialogue. Nothing specific to an actor or anything of the like and I don't pay any particular attention to what is being said or try to understand it in any way.
So yeah I found that interesting, never before has any language bother me or merit any kind of special attention.

I mean, it's your typical idol drama so not too much to expect. I kinda enjoyed watching it though. Do you not like the taiwanese language in general? O_o

I have zero issues with tai culture/anything really, I just can't stand hearing them talk. This just came out of the blue for me as well and not going back to listen to it to pinpoint what is it that bothers me.
Wouldn't even bring it up if it wasn't for the fact that I'm indifferent to every other language I been exposed to.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all... There are some languages that I find fascinating for reasons I can't figure out...like German...But I haven't heard one that makes me want to hate it...

Okay, to clear things up the language in the video is Mandarin Chinese. Actually, it's more of a dialect of Chinese. Taiwanese is not a language.
More on topic, I speak Mandarin Chinese and I have to agree that it's an extremely irritating language. I try to avoid speaking it whenever I can because I just don't like the sound of it, it always sounds so whiny.
