Hiatus

The last few weeks I have mulled this over and over... I think I am gonna go post at Oasis or MMOsite till all those blows over and someone finally takes out the WOW trash on SRF.

THese ppl have completely and utterly ruined SRF. They have ruined their own server and Im not willing to see it go here too. Even a wild animal is smart enough not to shit in their own bed, but then, this isnt Fable's bed anymore. THey have all gotten banned, moved on to another game. THey just hang out here to ruin SRF.

Fly has pretty much left and barely posts....

I love SRF, love what it stood for, loved that ppl were so nice and helpful, loved that anyone could ask whatever they could think of and get an answer. I loved that the mods not only post here but play the game and we knew who they were. I loved that it was kinda noobie and carebearish.

Right this minute, it suks. And I dont know how to make it better.

As usual, violence is the answer. If I see people being idiots and constantly killing low lvls with capes and not letting them quest or something like that I will murder them. It is worth the loss of exp and sp to make them pay for their crimes. Help everyone you can and tell them to pass it on.

I dont start the WoW convos in genral anymore. But if there already there and discussing it, im not gonna just change the subject. So im part of the problem because I've told like 3 people to join WoW? Good point there buddy.

just because i am no longer playing this game, and have switched over to WoW, doesnt mean i hate this game and dont ever want to play it again.

i post here because i like the forum, and because i like to keep up on what is goin on with SRO, i love the game, i just dont like what is going on with it ATM, so i am hanging around with hopes they will fix problems.

People here cry and post about nothing other than BOT and CCF all day long, ever day.

Then, they CHEAT, ruining the game for others, shutting down the server, causing rollback problems, duplicate gold for themselves, with the EXCUSE of BOT and CCF, and SHE's part of the problem?

Dont even bother arguing with me over the babel mess. My mind is set - if you don't like it, leave. They cheated, they ruined the fun. Don't give me your bullshit about "now you have event" or maybe "bot and ccf already ruined it" or how about "we were exposing a bug".

Now, I should go post this EXACT message on all the other Babel threads, all over my forum.

look beyond what HAS happened and see what it has inspired or will inspire in the future. everyone hating on this is blowing it way out of proportion even comparing it to bombing orphanages??!! this incidence is a SMALL price to pay for what is to come or has occured. suta said the GM's are monitoring the servers every 10 minutes! what more are we asking for? except maybe ban a few thousand botters perhaps. a few days of imaginary gold that was 'fixed' is turning into hell on earth yet other more major concerns are continuously ignored. lets hope for a 1 yr roll back to undo the bot and ccf damage

if people aren't compensated or unbanned it is SOLELY JM's fault just as bot and ccf are. blame chaud all you want, it's not going to do ANYTHING. he has already left for godsake... the blame now rest upon -------------------------> gaymax

I can support some of that. I can support positive hopes and thinking.

But im NOT going to support "SRO sucks go play WoW!"

Nightbloom et al - I apologize for the Babel drama - and they are working very hard to clean it up. Nightv was very instrumental and helpful last night, and it will start to get better because Admins are paying close attention.

As for the WOW stuff. Bah. Everyone is welcome to find "the" game that they like and stick with it. They can defend it, chat about it, be proud of it. But do it on a forum that pertains to this game. I don't bust my butt for 12-14 hours a day for SRO to come here and listen to why WOW pwns. I'm sure it does it many ways - just as SRO pwns it in many ways.

I wish we could have more fun topics. I wish there wasn't people trying to take down the servers, or duplicate gold, or bot, or ccf etc. But in time this will be taken care of. Our faith has certainly been tested of late; let's hope the worst has passed.

Nightbloom didn't really get a chance to know u well but u seem 2 generally have your head on straight. Hope it's not long of a hiatus

I don't think anyone here thinks "SRO sucks."

The lack of service on the other hand is definitely causing major problems as it always has been. It is frustrating to see SRO getting overwhelmed by bots. Removing bots from the start would have drastically decreased CCF because the assbots would never have made it to 64+ to indulge in silk. It's never too late but perhaps a clean slate is best ;p
