People who you admire
Post people who you admire or perhaps inspire you. Include wiki or a summary because I may not know them.
I am personally very inspired by Louis Theroux who makes documentaries. Most of you have probably seen his documentaries, but maybe you haven't seen this early 90s masterpiece on male performers in the porn industry.
I admire him for his amazing ability to be able to communicate with absolutely everyone. He's able to blend into any group he's with and never makes anyone feel uncomfortable even though he's documenting very personal stories.
So who do you guys admire or who inspires you?

1. Lain 'She' Trzaska: A mostly chiptune artist with a very unique sound. He always makes his music sound like the file is corrupted, which I inexplicably like. I think he's the first musician I've ever truly respected. To date he still hasn't made even a single song that I don't like.
2. Panamaman He was the artist who made the concept art of S4 League. I really like the style of his art. It's so sketchy yet there's plenty of details and he makes amazing use of transparency. The only downside is that he seems to like drawing fairly classy stuff when it's the sporty futuristic stuff where his style really shines :/

Mark Twain
He's the author of those kind of novels that you become a slightly different person after reading them.

Christopher Hitchens, he's an absolutely amazing speaker. I love watching his debates and mostly agree with his views.
Richard Dawkins, same reason as Hitchens. Amazing debater and author.
Joe Rogan, absolutely love listening to his podcasts. He has some of the best views on life I've yet to come across and I really respect him.

Re: People who you admire
My idol isn't famous, but his impact was a lot more personal to me. Richard, who is now sadly deceased, was one of my old Tafe teachers. He came from the absolute depths of poverty and mistreatment and spent his life toiling away to become successful. Despite his glaring flaws, he taught me to never stop chasing the dream. You can either make excuses for failing for the rest of your life or you can push the excuses away and, instead, implement strategies to overcome your failings. He's a big source of inspiration in my life and is one of the factors that is driving me to become a teacher myself.
