Favorite style

In regards to both books and movies I like a film that is incredibly pretentious, riddled with contextual meaning and that will make me spend the rest of the day de-constructing it and achieving some zen realisation from it. With that said my favourite movie of all time is Horton Hears a Who, so take that with a grain of salt.

Can you name some movies that are like that? Should I be thinking stuff like K-Pax, Matrix, Fight Club etc?

i like epic movies, gladiator, rome, 300, LOTR, matrix. whatever, as long as it's epic.

i farking hate horrors. lamest sh1t ever. went to paranormal activity because the woman wanted to see it so badly. burned the cinema down afterwards for not giving me my money back.

I remember sleeping through most of the LoTR movies, way too damn long. At least I've read the books (in french lol).

With movies, absolutely anything, I do love superhero movies though!!!
But when it comes to books, horror all the way! Stephen King I tend to read quite a bit, at the moment I am ready the "The Night Shift"...
