Quite surprised when I found out lol. Kinda seems weird Disney owning it. But bout time since Lucas wasn't doin anything apparently. Nor would I want him to do anymore >.>.

I could act like a pissed off hardcore fan but I'm actually looking forward to it. Star Wars with possibly a new spot, modern special effects? **** yeah.

Oh and Disney owns the world so it is bound to be awesome.

Doubtful. I didn't read the article, but my dad said that Lucas would still direct it, but Disney would get all the profits.

A possible bad move by lucas film.... Now the genre can possibly go to shits...Putting your idea in the hands of someone else often leads to them mucking it up.....Disney will have the entire hardcore star wars fans watching with a very judgemental eye....But Disney probably wont care because this is just an investment to make more money......

is everyone forgetting there is heaps of stories after episode 6 that are much better then the prequel episodes story

not to mention since marvel has been bought out by disney they have released some pretty good movies

I think Lucas' studio sold for like 4 billion. How will they earn that back? They would need like 3 Avatar-tier movies to get that.
