About the same size as the Blackberry Playbook (which I like) but like any other tablets I can't bring myself to spend 350$+ for something I'd use only for school (although it would make the experience so much better).
As for the Macbook, okay. The only they had going on for me was their sexiness but now everyone are releasing "Ultrabooks" which are just as sexy and cheaper.
I think I am going to rock this new Macbook Pro as soon as I can afford it....For some reason I am finding more appeal in apple's products these days.... Few years back I cared but not so much...
^ Yes... changing my posting color scheme to my next favorite color

Macbook Pro, it may be sexy with its absurd resolution, but you can get a significantly better ultrabook for that price. iPad Mini....just give me an iPhone 5 instead pl0x.

Although, I might not be a AppleFan, I wish I could have the money to spend on a Macbook. As for the Ipad Mini, just a joke. Just get a Nexus 7. Hate when people don't have originality and stick with what others have.
I will be buying the Macbook pro early next year when I start university. The choice for a Mac as opposed to a cheaper windows based laptop is so I can learn another OS to support. I feel that the more operating systems I can support and experience the better. With the rising popularity for Mac based devices I feel it would be an important skill to have in the up coming years.
I will also be buying a tablet, but I don't think I'd buy the iPad Mini. I'd love to buy the normal iPad as there are a number of apps I required that aren't on Android. But with the news I've been reading about the newest Android tablets it makes the decision hard. Btw, tablet will be used for uni in combination with the laptop as a substitute for textbooks. Acquire PDF for all text books -> put on tablet -> never carry textbooks around. Not to mention the benefits of a tablet as a mobile device.

A good reason to get the tablet... but if your laptop is thin and light enough it might defeat the purpose.....Then again the tablet does provide a better reading experience...
