I had the same problem due to my job.
I work 11 hours a day, 6 days a week, so getting up on time was getting pretty rough.

I set my clock 5 mins before I need to get up and I keep my phone across the room with an alarm on it so I have to get out of bed.
Now I'm usually awake before either alarm goes off. :)

It's interesting to read these posts. I have huge issues falling asleep, but once I get to sleep I'm fine and I can wake up no problem just from an alarm clock.

I've devised a system where if I can get at least 3 hours of sleep, I'll wake up fine as soon as I hear the alarm.

So your internal clock triggers a fapping reflex when you need to wake up? That's interesting.

I'm the same way. If I sleep any multiple of 1.5 hours I wake up no problem. Otherwise it's a chore getting out of bed.

I'm surprised no one brought this up yet, one of the biggest reasons people can't get out of bed in the morning is they hate what tet are waking up to do so something that ive learned to do is give myself a reason to wake up something to look forward too in the mornings. Sorta like a Christmas morning type thing.

How do you even calculate that man. It's not like you fall asleep the second you enter your bed so you have to take the time it takes to actually fall asleep into account.

Had a topic about my sleep pattern before. Now, it's hard to me to fall asleep around 1am. Either, I have so much stuff in mind that is hard to fall asleep or simply I don't feel tired. Waking up 9:30-10 almost everyday, regardless of what time I got to sleep. (except work days, which I need to get up at 9, but is sort of tedious)

If I want to sleep for 6 hours I usually set the alarm 6 hours and 20 minutes in the future and I consistently wake up a couple minutes before the alarm goes off. My brain's internal clock is excellent.

My class starts at 9 and I wake up at 7:20. It takes me 20minutes on bike to get to class though I always leave at 8:20-25. What do I do between the entire time?

"Snooze" sleeping. Basically snooze keeps going every 10minutes from 20 to 50 or so then I get ready. Without doing that then I get ready feeling awful while snooze sleeping slowly wakes me up until I can't stand hearing it or I wake up before it.

My phone a couple times just decided to restart and disable my alarms, but I ended up waking around 7:40 lol

I use my smartphone as an alarm clock, plugged in to the wall charger, right next to my bed. I normally have the ringtone of the alarm set to a song like Metallica - All Nightmare Long.

Over the summer, I had the alarm set to 3 AM every day for work. I got up, went downstairs, and did an Insanity workout. After that, jump in the shower, get dressed, grab a bite to eat, and head out the door. :)
