silkroad is dead not guild wars 2, this is a silkroad forum with a small sub-section for guild wars 2, just cause people dont post here doesnt mean the game is "dead". I check this section like 1-2 times per week it doesnt mean i dont play the game

The bashing has begun, I see alot of bashing threads on gw2guru such as I got everything now nothing to do, my build needs to be fixed ... etc
The game would've lost some of its playerbase if it was p2p not b2p, yet still, it's far away from "dead", it's one of the most active online games if not the most active to the moment.

Which one did you get, anything special? I have some berserker lvl 80 exotic but nothing impresive, im full exotic anyway. Im trying to get Corrupted avenger or Dusk of rage offcourse.

Still very much active here. I see thieves complaining about how OP their class/build is and how ArenaNet needs to balance it out. It's a load of crap. Glass cannon burst damage classes are just that, burst damage. If they mess up their first chance or got countered, they're dead or will spend the next minute running away. Then there's the people who complain about how "weak" their class is just because they can't play it well or set it up properly.

Oh..kind of off-topic but does anyone know why my Krait Rune says I have 6/6 when I only have 4/6 equipped? Not that I'm complaining about it but because of that, I just replaced my other 2 armor pieces with Undead Rune and my underwater breather mask with Afflicted Rune. Now I' have a bonus of 6/6, 2/6, 1/4 with mostly +Condition Damage. Maybe that's how Superior Runes work, I'm not sure

Also, I freakin' love Corrupted Sigil on my shortbow. I'm saving up my Bloodlust Sigil for my thief when it's 60+.

Don't know how you can play an alt with the exact same armor class as you're previous one. You'll be wearing the same looking gear all the way to 80 again? =/

Nope. I've been transmuting Sylvari cultural armors so not really. Besides, I like medium armors a lot more than light clothing and heavy iron sets.

Depends what kind of player are you... If you are hard core player you will get boored pretty soon. I made to lvl 80, in few days, got maxed gear in like 10 days, finished story, made alt, mastered 5 out of 8 crafting disciplines, dunno it just doesnt have any real 80lvl content... I get that lvl 80 is not important, but evrything just gets booring pretty soon.
WvW was fun first few days, but its get repetetive and booring.
But those days I spent play I did really enjoyed.

Follows the same recipe as GW1 in the way that you play the f--- out of the game, take a break, come back and enjoy the content (plus new one by then) again.

I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore player but I do play this game quite a lot. I have 1 full exotic gear character so far with all the costumes/dyes I want in it. Although I haven't really done much with crafted. But all of these things were accomplished in a matter of weeks - not days. There's still a lot of things I haven't done in the game either. I own a guild and we have about 40 people in it right now - most members I recruited on their first few days in the game (some are lvl80 now). My next goal is to have a good pvp team for wvwvw and start taking over fortresses. There's still a crapload of areas I have yet to explore and some weapon skins I have to get for my main and alt. In most games, the end-game content is pretty much just running the same "hardest dungeon" over and over again or staying in pvp for hours so I have to say this one has better content than most. Besides, we haven't even gotten to expansions yet.
