Burger King to offer bacon sundae as part of new summer menu
Burger King is jumping on the bacon bandwagon, and is now offering the meaty treat in the most unlikely of places – an ice-cream sundae. The sundae – vanilla soft serve drizzled with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of ‘thick-cut bacon’ - started in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year and today launched nationwide. However, the news isn’t all good; the dessert packs a caloric punch, with 510 calories, 18 grams of fat, and 61 grams of sugar.

This is hardly new. As someone who visits burger king 3-4 times a week, I can tell you it's been out for about a month or so now, iirc.

Too bad I'm jewish and don't eat pork. Cause I'd totally try this.

Dang.... Why didn't they just go all out and slap a chunk of ham, a pound of butter, two scoops of whale blubber, and pour on a serving of pan grease mixed with thick syrup on that sundae....... Call it "The early graver"

It sounds gross but many will find it strangely goes together well...similar to peanut brittle, caramel popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels and peanuts are a few common combinations.
Sweet and salty combinations are quite a delight if you ask me.

...Would I eat this? Probably not.. the textures are just...no..
