Only heard good things about it. I recently got a Transformer Infinity tablet and it's pretty awesome. Not sure how the 7 inch screen on the Nexus 7 would be though..I hear there's maybe a Nexus 10 (10 inch screen) coming out in the future..

My little cousins got the 10 inch Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet, and I tried it today. Do not want.

iPad 3rd Gen 16GB WIFI = $587.59 after tax

Was just joking bro, but I don't really see the point of a tablet. home = pc/laptop, on the way = mobile phone. but i'd suggest taking the nexus, apple is just some overpriced sh1t. I had to use one at work, that thing annoyed the sh1t out of me. I really can't believe people pay like 700 euros (USD 1000) for the iPad here in Holland. you can buy some nice ass laptop for that money. and when I was working at a bank, we all got an iPad for christmas. never opened it, sold it for 500 euro's

Poor WiFi/GPS fixed, has a faster CPU, faster memory and 1090x1200 display. Also the edges of the pad itself aren't as "sharp". Can't remember what else off the top of my head.

It's true, Apple are producing a 7 inch tablet which is rumoured to be named the iPad Mini. I was reading about it today on the mobile Time app.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone been keeping up to date with the lawsuit between Samsung and Apple over patent infringements? The decision is going to be challenged by Samsung, but a court decided that Samsung has breached a number of Apple's patents and are being sued $1.05 billion and Apple are challenging to have 8 of Samsung's products pulled from shelves. From a consumer point of view it really is a big set back, although hopefully it leads to more innovation from competitors as opposed to clone making.

Yea I have been following that story....Apple lost the lawsuit in Korea but won in the States...The evidence was overwhelming. Especially with e-mails between Samsung's executives saying that "We need to make our devices look like Apple's"....Numerous e-mails of the same sort further shooting themselves in the foot... The jury found Samsung's infringement "Wilful" and that was enough to can them.... .No idea how the hell they lost in Korea but I am not too surprised since Samsung is Korean..

I personally cant stand parasites of this sort where they can't innovate so they blatantly steal other people's ideas/designs....Stealing someone's idea and cleverly masking it is one thing but I am far more disgusted by you when you do it out in the open as if it was OK to do so...No regard what so ever for other people's work. You should expect similarities between products in the Phone, Computer and Tablet industry since there is really not much to change. Then why don't motorbike companies sue each other? I mean they look all very alike on the outside. Damn Apple is a bunch of ignorant people.

It depends if you patent the physical appearance or not....I would guess some of these bike manufacturers never went and patent the look of their bikes..... I have yet to see another car manufacture making their car look like a Lamborghini though......

The patents weren't entirely based upon appearance. Samsung had copied Apples "pinch zoom" and "bounce back" features which they had a patent over. It's not entirely cosmetic.
