The screenshots are by default low quality. You need to enable HD screenshots from the menu. I'll post some tomorrow when I get a chance - the game is absolutely beautiful.

I guess its cause its beta, but the characters look good but the terrain looks really bad. Only talking about Dom's picture here. Maybe its just the different type of game engine than sro, thats why o_O

Do you guys think Digital Deluxe edition is worth the extra money it costs?

The only permanent thing you get from the DD is the pet and the elite skill. The elite is most likely inferior to real elites and will have limited use. The other 3 items are boosts for a single occasion.

So it's up to you to decide if you want to pay 20€ (can't see the price in dollars or any other currency) for a pet. I personally went for the standard edition.

Apparently i am getting this when i get back to Canada. I've been looking at a couple of videos and reading up, and i have to admit the whole no class thing is pretty interesting...

Im liking the Engineer, Guardian or Ranger.

About 5irl friends are getting it with me. 3 already pre-ordered and the other 2 are waiting.

For those of you who haven't played the game yet, i would check out the Yogscast of some of the Chars. They are 10-20 mins long, and are a gritty little overview of aspects of each char.

Those 3 are just the classes i'm interested in.

I have to admit i was pretty surprised when he said the Guardian was more of a Support fighter, than just a brute force Melee. However, i guess since the Holy Trinity of Tank-Heals-DPS is no longer, then the Guardian had to fit in somewhere, and mirroring a Pally is where it fits in.

Still excited for the game, still trying to read up and learn as much as i can...

Played it last weekend and im looking forward to the release.

The PvE needs some work since i was level 15 doing level 19 quest.

The WvW was awesome we won 3 days straight, some epic moments happend like we were holding the big fort stonemist and we got flanked from 2 sides, when suddenly a random guys says backup almost there and we see a guild of 50 people out of nowhere flank the attackers and we holded them off, shit was so epic.

I got to say we been rather shitty about meeting ingame besides for like the first beta. Have yet to meet anyone from here ingame.

same with me, but then again i wasn't really trying to either. I do agree it is pretty easy to be under leveled for PvE if you are just doing the heart quests and whatever events you happen to run across. I found doing heart quests mixed with either, WvW or crafting makes a nice mix to keep you at the right level.

My favorite part of Guild wars 2 so far is without a doubt WvW.

From the first BWE my fav thing ever was WvW, unfortunately in this last BWE, all three days our server got put up against the newer servers which had fewer people. I could only try WvW this last BWE on Friday because on Saturday and Sunday we owned every camp, tower and keep around the clock.

I'm looking forward to the Elementalist. It's my fav profession right now though I'm gonna retry engineer next BWE.

Watched some WvW videos, and that shit looks insane.

I really hope this games turns out to be all that it is, anyone know when the next BETA weekend is? Might try to pre-order it if there are some coming up soon.

It's been confirmed that there will be at least one more BWE. Expect it to be in about a month or so, though they'll announce the exact date a week or two in advance.

Like say, Xian vs. Aege (in sro)? O_O
If that is what it is, how would that work out, cause i thought servers were always located on different,erm, servers?

Three servers. So something like Xian v.s Aege v.s Troy.

Im guessing they would all be same Region, to try and reduce Ping where possible. I mean, mind you 100+ people and Skills that they do...

Its nothing different as from WoW battlegrounds, these also consists of a battlegroup. 1 Battlegroup = several different servers. These fight against another Battlegroup afaik. Long time since I played WoW.

Except on WoW you can have people from different servers on your team as opposed to WvWvW. Here it's all about representing your server.
